Jennifer Frustino / ECMC

Dr. Jennifer L. Frustino, DDS, PhD, is a Staff Clinician at ECMC (Erie County Medical Center), where she serves as the Associate Chief of Service in the Department of dentistry and is part of the Division of oral oncology and maxillofacial prosthetics. Additionally, she holds the position of Director of Oncology Research at the institution. Dr. Frustino is highly involved in her field, co-chairing ECMC's Commission on Cancer Committee and serving as the Chair of the WNY HPV Vaccination Coalition. Her professional focus includes oral medicine, providing dental care to oncology patients, and the screening, diagnosis, and management of oral cancer and premalignant lesions. She is also a principal investigator on cancer-related clinical trials and NIH-funded research. Her educational background includes a DDS from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, and an MS in Natural Sciences and a PhD in Cancer Pathology and Prevention from the University at Buffalo, Roswell Park Division. She also completed a post-doctoral fellowship in cancer prevention and population sciences, and a residency in Dental Oncology and Cancer Prevention and Population Sciences at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
