I would not recommend this dentist to anyone. They seem like they are trying to scam and upsell you on everything. The first time I went to the doctor , they told me that I needed to do a panoramic xray. They stated that this was not covered by insurance and the doctor “recommends getting it”. I told them that if it wasn’t covered by insurance and it was a recommendation then I wouldn’t be getting it because I don’t wanna pay anything out of pocket. They then continue to stress the importance of it and try to use scare tactics like, “Oh we have found cancer with that scan” , in order guilt me into getting the panoramic x-ray.

I told them I would think about it. After my initial visit, I was scheduled for a cleaning WEEKS later because they were closed for a week. I thought that I was getting a regular cleaning that I had always received at my prior dentist. At the end of the visit, I was charged $65 while I went ahead and paid the charge. I was confused because my husband and I have the same insurance and at his dentist he has never once gotten charged a co-pay. When I called the front desk to ask about the charge they stated that I got a “specialized cleaning”.

I told them that I would’ve never gotten that cleaning had I’ve been properly informed that that was what I was receiving I would have opted for the one that was free. They said that I signed the plan of care, but I was not properly explained that this meant I would be getting something that wasn’t covered by my insurance. Overall, this business is just trying to charge people on everything and want to find more ways to get your money other than insurance.

I've had dental issues my entire life-- It had gotten so much worse since I was terrified to go back to a dentist because of how badly I was treated at my previous one. I'm so lucky to have ended up here at Dr. John's Dentistry; I don't feel shamed or guilted, and I always trust that they'll give me the care I need.

I had Natalie for my cleaning, but they are all amazing here. All the girls make sure you are aware of your health, they help you make informed decisions about your teeth and your health. Very professional staff and you can tell they all truly enjoy working with one another. I got over my long time dentist fear by coming here
