New dentist for me. He went over history in detail using the information I had sent in. Each step by his techs was explained by them in detail, from the X-rays that were taken to the cleaning process. I found each step less uncomfortable than it has been with my previous dentist and his techs. This feels like a better relationship than the previous one, which wasn’t that bad.

It was an ambitious visit. Cavity, scan for an implant and crown. Shelly and Dr Wong were engaged, watching for body language showing discomfort constantly. It was as excellent an experience as one could hope for in those circumstances. I am so grateful to have found this office.

I've been coming to this office for teeth cleanings for a while now-four times total. When I first started coming here, I saw Dr. Van, who was great, along with a hygienist i forgot her name, she was so kind and gentle. On another visit, I still saw Dr. Van. But after that, I noticed they suddenly switched me to a different doctor without telling me or asking for my consent. I found that very unprofessional.

As for the hygienist, my experience with Edith has been consistently negative. The first time she cleaned my teeth, I mentioned that she was hurting me, and she rolled her eyes at me. The next time, l told Jona I didn't want Edith again-but despite that, they still assigned me to her. I didn't want to cause a scene, so I let it go, and that visit was okay. The last straw was on May 14. I was 10 minutes late to my appointment (I called ahead to inform them), and once again, Edith was my hygienist. I pointed out a small stain on my teeth, and she snapped, "Oh girl, you made me late.

That's a gap between your teeth. " Yes, I have a gap-but there was also a clear stain she ignored. Her attitude was rude and dismissive. After all these experiences-being treated poorly, ignored when I requested a different hygienist, and switched to another doctor without being told. I will not be returning to this office. Patients deserve to be treated with respect and transparency, and I didn't feel that here.
