I came here completely on a whim at the idea of having braces behind my teeth. I was a little late to the braces game and didn’t want something so painfully obvious and KO was perfect. Not only did I get the discrete treatment I wanted but I found myself really looking forward to these visits because of how nice the staff was.

I was constantly boasting about them to my friends and family and they made it all the more inviting. I would recommend this office to anyone even for normal braces or Invisalign because the staff and super fun decor made it worth every visit.

My daughter has been a patient for 3 years & got her braces off today!! We drove to Kalamazoo from Battle Creek & I’m grateful we were recommended to go to Dr. Bowman. The staff at both locations are great! And Dr Bowman was so patient with my daughter & very thorough! I would recommend 110%

My son's smile looks great, but I am so glad to be done with this office. The scheduling is a nightmare. If you happen to have jobs and other kids, I can guarantee the appointments will be at inconvenient times and locations for you. We live west of Kalamazoo and were told we could go to the Paw Paw location, but the problem is that they are only in that office once a month and the spots book up quickly, especially the ones after school. It's super frustrating to pull your kid out of school to take them to a 10 minute appointment in the middle of the work day. They also would not schedule appointments with us in person. Instead they would email us a random appointment time.

Yes, the office is "fun", but I'd prefer not to have my kid's braces adjusted by someone who looks like she is 20 years old in jeans and Birkenstocks. There were several times when the wires were not the correct length and we had to go back to have them trimmed as the wires cut the inside of his mouth. I don't care that there are massage chairs for parents to wait in or autographed sports memorabilia in the office. Professionalism is what matters to me. My son has no follow-up visits, which surprises me. I would think after 2 years of treatment there would be some sort of checkup a few months later to make sure the retainers were a good fit, nothing drastically changed, etc. The last straw was that we were on an automatic monthly payment plan.

Apparently when the braces come off, the automatic payments stop, which no one told us and I just received a "past due" notice. When his braces were removed, there was NO mention of paying the balance at that time or the monthly payments stopping. We also received nothing in the mail about this until the past due notice. My daughter gets braces next month and we have HAPPILY changed to another Kalamazoo practice. I spoke with them about these concerns and they've assured me things will be different in their office. I sure hope so!
