Dr. Ellsworth and her team are absolutely amazing. They made my 7 year old feel so comfortable and so relaxed with their positive upbeat relaxing personalities. My 7 year old has had some traumatic dental experiences at her actual dentist in which they refered us to Dr. Ellsworth for some more in depth dental work that was needed for my 7 year old. Dr. Ellsworth and her team made my 7 year old feel so trusting of them, so relaxed, and not the least bit nervous going to the dentist.

Dr. Ellsworth was able to fix all 6 of my 7 year olds teeth in one visit and my 7 year old had the BEST DENTIST EXPERIENCE she has ever had, to the point that she asked me if Dr. Ellsworth could be her permanent dentist from now on and I was more than happy to say yes to her even with it being a hour drive for us to get there. EXCELLENT WORK, EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE, EXCELLENT/POSITIVE ATTITUDES, OUTSTANDING JOB. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. ELLSWORTH AND HER STAFF.

Dr. Ellsworth had been the dentist for my family for 25years. After having an absolutely traumatic experience at another dentist as a child, my mother brought me to Dr. Ellsworth. Somehow even as a terrified child, I remember just feeling like I could trust her. From then on she was my dentist. Now, I live just over 1. 5 hours away from her office and make that drive because I trust her wholeheartedly with my children’s dental needs. Dr. E always explains everything that she suggests needs to be done, while also giving me a choice in the decisions. Her entire office staff is the most compassionate out of any doctor’s office I’ve been to. My daughter had a lot of issues going on a few years ago and needed multiple crowns amongst some other things. I did not completely understand why so much needed to be done for baby teeth that she would one day lose. Dr.

E explained it to me and how neglecting those baby teeth WILL in turn, affect her adult teeth. There are some dentists who don’t take as much care when it comes to those baby teeth. I guess because they are a business too and if there’s issues with the adult teeth, they know that patient will need to keep returning. Maybe Dr. E could do the same but, I for one am so thankful that she doesn’t. I read some of these bad reviews on here and I just had to try and clear some of this up in hopes it will help the next mom that is searching for a kind, compassionate, and honest dentist for their child. Here’s the truth, Dr. Ellsworth will always give it to you straight. For some, I think that catches them off guard because most pediatric drs tend to sugar coat things and tiptoe around directness. As a parent, having someone tell us, “your child is in need of multiple crowns etc…” then being asked if all they are drinking is juice at home can easily catch you off guard, I get it. But maybe you’re a mom like me who when you think of sugary treats you think candy, soda, ice cream and cake. Not even thinking of fruits or juice because those are healthy. This was the case for my daughter, she didn’t eat much sweets. My daughter would turn to the oranges and strawberries over almost anything else! I was so proud at her healthy choices.

Yet little did I know, all that fruit was destroying her teeth. If it wasn’t for Dr. E asking me these questions and being completely honest with me, I wouldn’t have known. As a parent, it’s hard to hear that we may need to change what we thought we were doing right. When it comes to your child and their dental needs, Dr. Ellsworth will be there with you every step of the way. At her office I always feel welcomed, and relaxed, I never feel judged, and my children absolutely adore her. So please, stop scrolling through the reviews and make the appointment. Whether you are just looking for a regular dentist for your child or maybe you know your child is having an issue and/or experiencing tooth pain, make the appointment. Dr. E and her staff are all mother’s themselves, they GET IT. You are not alone.

Me and my family love Dr. Kathleen, and her staff. She is very efficient, and kind. She is great with kids, and very patient. I always feel very welcomed when I am there. I would recommend her to all my family and friends!
