The work gets done, but the Elaine, the dental hygienist, kept trying to upsell me services that were not included with my insurance. I agreed to do the cancer screening. She tried adding the fluoride service in when I agreed to do the cancer screening. I paused and asked her to explain this additional service. I declined the fluoride multiple times. She got sidetracked and forgot to give me the cancer screening when she said she was finished. I had to remind her to give me the oral exam.

The next visit a few days later, she tried selling the fluoride service again multiple times. I declined multiple times. I don't mind being notified of services available to me, but when it is pushed aggressively, it feels like I'm in a used car lot and it is a money grab, no matter how helpful the service may be. Elaine took the time to show me how to properly floss on my own teeth using my own teeth and mirror. No other hygienist has done that in my life. My past 3 visits have been with a different dentist there. There is a lack of consistency with care.

Dentists keep leaving the practice. I'm not sure who I will get next time. Baseline 3 stars. One star removed for aggressive sales tactics. One star added back for taking the time to show me how to properly floss. One star removed for lack of consistency with the dentists. Final: 2 stars
