PBR “PaoPao”

I was a patient of Dr. Barry and happy with his services. Some medical/dental offices should coach or consider who they hire as staff. Today I received a call from Deborah, a secretary at Dr. Barry's office to confirm an upcoming appt, due to their system having issues and many appts were deleted, I happily obliged.

Deborah asked for payment, which I have been making monthly payments yet due to Covid and financially supporting my elderly parent a payment in February was missed, but made up for it in March with a substantial amount. I have spoken with other staff in this office and made payments each time going over payment amounts and never received a rude comment. The persons I have spoken with were professional and were easy to speak with in arranging future payments. A payment contract was never made therefore no set monthly amount was agreed to. My issue with the conversation with Deborah is her inconsiderate comments.

" Everyone has problems. " An unnecessary comment to tell a patient, if Deborah were a professional in her line of work; maybe learn to listen instead talking over the patient I wouldn't have cancelled my future appt.

I have been a patient of Dr Kennedy for years. Prior to him I had many issues with other dentists and was very afraid of pain. He has changed all that for me. I now see him every three months and I am no longer afraid of dentists. He is very good at what he does and will not try and sell you on something that is not needed. It is great to trust someone with the care of my teeth.

Late 1990's - early 2000's my dentist, Dr Iskol, referred me to Dr Kennedy and he treated my gums so I could get a front tooth implant. He implanted the receptacle and oversaw the healing of my gums. His assistant was really great. They both had a great sense of humor which was a welcomed distraction for someone who is afraid of dental procedures.

They put me at ease during the procedures. The implant was a joint effort between my dentist and Dr Kennedy (periodontist) that turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I feel they were all perfectionists!
