I was a satisfied patient for a few years, but recently I called to make an appointment with my favorite hygienist. I found out that she was let go suddenly, and that a young male took her place the next morning. There was nothing wrong with her clinical work, her manner, or anything else that matters to a dental patient. When I called to ask for my appointment and mentioned that she was the one I wanted to see, the receptionist mentioned a date, and I asked if my hygienist would be there on that day, since she was oart time.

She asked me who, even though I clearly stated at the beginning of the conversation. I was finally told that she is no longer there. I asked whether she was all right, since she mentioned in our last conversation that she would be working a few more years. The receptionist sounded uncomfortable when telling me that it was sudden, but that mt hygienist is okay.

I got the idea that this office has decided to get rid of an older worker. Since I am about the same age, I have decided that they must not want older patients, either.

Professional and friendly. The dentists (I've seen 2 - Kolquist and Larson) are knowledgeable and explain issues thoroughly yet in a way I understand. My hygienist was very gentle too. I definitely recommend Kenwood Dental.

I have been going to Dr. Kolquist since 2007 and cannot say enough great things about he and his staff. Dr. Kolquist provides amazing dentistry and he also gives me options so I feel that I am involved in my care. I always feel welcome and valued and actually look forward to my appointments. I highly recommend Kenwood Dental.
