Klondike Dental Care

I visited Klondike Dental Care for a dental filling on the left side of my mouth last September. The clinic allowed a staff member, who only had an assistant's qualification, to perform the filling procedure on me independently. This was concerning as assistants are typically only permitted to assist under the supervision of a licensed dentist. However, in my case, the qualified dentist left for over an hour to attend to another patient, leaving the assistant to manage alone. The procedure involved repeated adjustments to the filling material, but the shape was never quite right.

Eventually, the main dentist returned and made some modifications, but the outcome was still disappointing. To this day, I experience pain when chewing meat or harder foods with the filled tooth. Before leaving IN, I sought a repair for the issue, but it was not resolved. The assistant in question is the second from the left in the back row of the clinic's group photo. It's evident that her skills were not adequate to perform the procedure on a patient alone.

I believe that the assistant's multiple failed adjustments during the procedure damaged my tooth, resulting in an inability to chew hard objects with the treated tooth to this day. This experience at Klondike Dental Care has scaused serious damage to my dental health and daily life. I hope my feedback helps others make informed decisions about their dental care.

I had no issues with the office staff, but Dr. James is rude and unprofessional. It's been some time since I've gone here, but I still remember the rude comment he made and when you read the other reviews that are similar to mine, you should believe them. It was something to the effect of "your parents spent all that money on braces for you to do this to your teeth". My teeth were fine as it related to my braces - still perfectly straight, but I needed a root canal. I'm a new patient at this point, and he knows nothing about me.

This was literally one of the first things I heard out of his mouth after meeting me. His assumptions were wrong. I gave him a second chance anyways. The next time I was in for a follow-up appt, both he and the assistant were bad-mouthing another patient WHILE they were working on my teeth. Don't let it be you.

Had a wonderful first experience with the entire staff. They were kind, patient, and provided excellent care. The staff went above and beyond to help keep my toddler calm and entertained when it was my turn for a cleaning and he was not interested in playing in the same room or sitting with me. A true family dentist.

Outstanding dentist. Friendly and knowledgeable. He graciously saw my mother on short notice when she lost a crown. Highly recommend to anyone. Spanish spoken as well.
