Don't do it. I went there and receive some of THE worst service EVER. The reception staff was super rude. The dentist was nice and told me he would not sign off my paperwork for surgery because I had an infection, gave me an extensive (expensive) dental plan and told me to come back when I was ready to start. I went to another dentist who chuckled, said I didn't have an infection, signed my paperwork and made me vow to come back for my cleanings and some minor dental work (which I have been doing).

If they need money, just say so but don't screw over your patients. They are close to my office and not too far from home. If I had received different services, they'd still have me as a patient.

I am very disappointed with the service that I have received this year and even last year. Last year I was never called about my appointment that was canceled, it was nice that I called to verify my appointment beforehand. Even with Covid, I understand everyone is trying to stay safe but common professional courtesy should be a plus for any services.

I am sad that after having a service rendered that they don't even contact you when you're particular item comes in. It has taken me a month to receive my mouth guard and when you ask about the delay, it just seems like a routine thing to them. I have seen Dr.

Woods, for over 25 years, when they were in the Old Landover Mall building and it seems that the business is just a business - not patient care. I feel like the other negative review if you want to keep customers returning please provide excellent customer care services: Maybe updated customer care service training might be needed! Remember: the bottom is only as good if the top is good!

Just wanted to let you all know that every REVIEW ain't always about the attitude of the company it's sometimes about the attitude of the person writing the review out of anger and or because they didn't get their way with something. . . With that being said, I have had nothing but a GREAT EXPERIENCE with the STAFF, and Dr. Julian Woods. . . today we LAUGHED and I felt so at ease, before he begin to provide service to my MOUTH!! I am the one that HATES pain, however he assured me that I would be okay and I was just that. . . His assistant. . .

(I forgot her name, charge to the head and not the HEART) she is WONDERFUL!!!! I feel comfortable going to Landover Dental and I look forward to them earning my business. . . SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. . . when reading reviews. . . READ into the reviews. . . Know that they are not in business to take your money, they are not in business to be RUDE, they are not in business to LIE to you about your dental work.

. . If you go into a business and don't have insurance. . . it is not the fault of the company's. . . . Prices are the prices. . . they have been honest with me about my dental work and I am WELL PLEASED!!! Hope you all find this review helpful!!

I have been going here for 46 yrs. I was 14 with a mouth full of cavaties. They have served this community well back to when they were located in Landover Mall offices @Promenade 3😀. I saw the late Dr. Harmon who was the nicest but delivered your diagnosis straight no chaser! At one time they did have a receptionist that never smiled and could be a little short but she has since retired. My chart was given to Dr. Cliff Woods after Dr. Harmons passing and I’ve been nothing but satisfied. He and his team are always cordial.

I look forward to my reminder calls with Ms. Darniece. Dr. Woods and I always start our visits with laughs and checking in on each other’s families. His stories keep me relaxed. I hardly have any wait time to be seen. Dentistry is expensive even with insurance so you need to know that beforehand. Any dentist that says otherwise you need to beware. He never does unnecessary work and clearly explains things.

Dr. Davidson, the oral surgeon has removed 4 Wisdom teeth (2 impacted) at once with no pain and one tooth. My 21 yr old now sees Dr. Julian Woods and my 87 yr old mom sees Dr. William Woods. They are a family servicing a family. Thanks for servicing this community and keeping our smiles bright!
