My initial consultation experience for my 6 year old was very positive. The front office staff, Derricka and Sylvia were very nice. Sylvia was very reassuring and kind to my child who was a little anxious. Dr.

Long, the ortho specialist, was very warm, she seemed to really listen and value feedback from me as the parent. The office was clean, bright, warm and inviting. We are going to switch from our current dentist to the pediatric dentistry practice within Legacy because they are a little more welcoming and appear to have better bedside manner at this practice.

I visited Legacy Orthodontics less than a year ago and was highly pleased with my reception, treatment and consultation. However, much has changed in less than a year! I delayed treatment for a few months due to my daughter's engagement and wedding. I anticipated an increase in fees due to inflation, perhaps 20%, but my rate has nearly doubled! Generally there are two fee schedules: one for insurance purposes and the other when paying out of pocket. I recieved a Senior discount, I pay out of pocket, and a military discount because we are military retirees.

I thought that was awesome! But, under new management I was told that I should not have received any discount. I feel like I've been taken advantage of.

I am very disappointed with Legacy Orthodontics. They closed their office without proper communication. One day I called to confirm my son’s appointment and they told me. We will no longer provide orthodontic services, Dr. Ouellette wants to dedicate only to teaching. I started asking questions and the receptionist was rude to me. She said I should receive an email in a couple of days. I didn’t receive the email. I had to call for them to resend it. The email gives three options to transfer and the offer to help with the process.

Dr. Ouellette will be working there. The clinic in Woodstock, Hickory Flat Dentistry, and the one in Marietta, Integrity Orthodontics told me that perhaps I should find another provider near me. They will not honor the contract I signed because they need to check my son’s progress. When I asked about the process to transfer they don’t have a plan. The manager at Integrity Orthodontics told me she has not even heard about the situation. Dr. Ouellette has been working there for a month or so. Dr. Ouellette and Legacy Orthodontics left us stranded trying to find a new provider which will cost me $1K extra.

I was subject to the contract I signed to pay, are they not subject to provide the service? Legacy is not even transferring my son’s records because Dr. Ouellette needs to sign it off, but he’s no longer there. I asked for a refund. They said they’re working on it. Who’s going to be responsible for our situation? Everyone is washing their hands. I need solutions. Who is keeping this medical provider accountable? They don’t deserve a star.

Very disappointed in this office. Paid my daughter's braces off in full at the time of her first treatment just to be told they are no longer doing orthodontics in their office. Now I am stuck paying an additional fee of over $2,000 for another office to finish her treatment. I have yet to receive any reimbursement. I would NEVER recommend this office to anyone.
