Dr Woodell found through her normal examination after my cleaning a problem i was having in my throat area. She went out of her way to get me into an Oral Surgeon the next day. Her compassion for her patients by the way she handled my issue showed she's 5 stars in my book. I TRUST the medical advice and practice that she's doing.

I went to this dentist regularly for a couple of years, and everything seemed fine. I had gotten a couple of fillings done in that time, all the while being told that I had more and more teeth that would need to get fillings soon. When I asked why I have so many cavities all of the time, the response was always “oh, it’s just genetics. ” One day, I was getting a measurement done for gum recession. Dr. Woodell acted shocked when she got to my lower front teeth.

She told me that I would probably have to have surgery to restore that area of the gums, the recession was just so bad. I had never even been warned about this being a potential issue before. Conveniently enough, she said that she knows someone who can do the job, her friend, Dr. (I forget their name. ) Seems a bit fishy, right? Well, a few months later, I found myself on Medicaid, which is not accepted here. On my first visit to my new dentist, I presented my concerns about my gums and numerous cavities.

The dentist looked confused. She said that I had zero cavities. The gum recession was very minor, caused by brushing too hard. And what do you know, when I stopped brushing so hard, it got better. No surgery involved. The moral of the story is, don’t believe everything you’re told, and always get a second opinion!

If I could give zero stars I would. She put in a crown for me that broke within 1 year and then she didn’t want to replace it free of charge even though it’s under warranty. Also, screamed at me and was very disrespectful for absolutely no reason. Also had a secretary ( with absolutely no dental experience) fix my broken temporary crown.

This secretary left grey film in between all my teeth due to inserting my temporary crown back in. After seeing Dr Woodell after and explaining what the secretary did, she did not want to scrape off grey film for me unless I paid her for another whole teeth cleaning ( even though I just paid her for a teeth cleaning 2 weeks prior and it was her secretary mistake that she made in my mouth). Had to go to another dentist after to get the grey film scraped off. She is obviously all about the money! Please do not get any work done here.

She does not back her warranties and also has other people in the office with no dental experience work on you. Very unprofessional. Zero stars

I had read some negative reviews on Google but decided to try this dentist anyways as the office is close to my home and they accept my dental discount plan. I should’ve paid more heed to the negative reviews. My advice is to stay away from this dentist unless you want to undergo a whole lot of expensive and unnecessary dental work. Here’s why. At this office, I was told I needed five new crowns and two new fillings. Total out-of-pocket over $4K.

I was also told I had more than two existing crowns, and I know for a fact I only have two. So, I made a consultation appointment with a different dentist. The new dentist informed me that I have one filling that needs a patch and I will have to get another crown on a tooth that does not already have one. If the payment plan is similar, my out-of-pocket will be less than $1K. That’s a huge difference! Obviously will stick with the new dentist.
