I have never in my life written a low star review. I do it now purely in order to help others who might have disabilities. Bottom line: if you have disabilities or back pain, do not come here! I am disabled. I called the clinic specifically to ask if they could accommodate my disabilities. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with Natalia outlining my limitations, mainly needing extra time to get into the dentist chair. She said it would not be a problem. I explained my dental situation and that my current dentist would send over all the X-rays, not just of the problem tooth but panoramics and previous ones, which they promptly sent over 2 days prior. I also explained a crown had fallen out so I needed help for that. I somehow made the 30 minute drive to the office in severe pain. When I got there, my husband checked me in and I walked in a short while later. A nice young lady showed me in and took me to first stop: panoramic X-rays.

I tried to explain that it’s very difficult for me to take those and that I would try at the end, when my back is usually more relaxed. “No problem,” she said with a smile. I also told them all my X-rays had been sent over. (Btw it was clear the office was empty, there were no other patients, and about 6 staff present). The nice young lady showed me into a room. Apologizing profusely, I explained I needed a bit of extra time to get into a chair, but once I was in, I would be fine for one hour or more. The young lady nicely straightened the chair for me, raised it, and then left the room. My husband helped me get into it, but I misjudged and had to do it over again. At that point, the office manager came in with Dr Serag. Neither introduced themselves by name. The office manager told us that they regretted they did not understand the extent of my disabilities and that they would not be able to treat me.

Very calmly, I tried to say that I’ve never had a dentist not be able to treat me in a chair that is fully reclined. I pleaded with them, looking at Dr Serag, to at least examine me. They simply and firmly showed me the door as Dr Serag looked on. For the last 8 years I have received dental care from many dentists in this area. I have never ever been refused care. So let me make it clear: I WAS REFUSED CARE HERE FOR BEING DISABLED AND FOR NO OTHER REASON. If you are disabled, have back pain, are elderly or need extra time for any reason, please DO NOT COME HERE. You will be refused treatment. Please consider Dr Brent Blaylock in Durham or Dr T Goodridge in Chapel Hill.

A friend of mine recommended this practice. I set up my first appointment for last week and then unfortunatelyI had a family emergency So I had to reschedule. Today I have a secondary issue due to the first family emergency, which caused me to run behind. I called and spoke with Ariana, her co worker and then the office manager and explained the situation. The office manager was very kind and understanding.

She was able to Reach a resolution and get me rescheduled. She was very professional. So far, I’ve heard nothing but good things about this place and look for to going and getting started. I will provide an update once I have my first visit.

So the dental hygientis that did my scaling was awesome she known me up and she was very professional.

The dentist however was not he known me on a tooth that had an infection and then told me it hurt because it didn't numb well because of the infection if that's the case then give me some antibiotics and don't touch the tooth when he pulled my tooth I screeched in so much pain I had to tell him to get out of my mouth never in my whole life have I ever felt that much pain!

I was able to come in without an appointment and have an impacted wisdom tooth extracted on the same day. Dr. Serag was very professional and he and the entire staff were extremely pleasant. After x-rays, the procedure, and initial fee it wound up costing a little over $640 without insurance which is very reasonable.
