Be careful. I went in to Dr Acuestra on short notice a while ago as my dental insurance was running out and with some concern about a tooth and ended in with what turned out to be an unnecessary crown (diagnosis from my subsequent dentist). To make matters worse after they placed the temp fitting I called and asked for help as it was very painful and they treated me dismissively. Once they finally deigned to see me, Dr Acuestra had the nerve to say “you really were hurting”. The temp fitting was so bad it left sores. Then to make matters worse they practically forced me to buy an expensive tooth whitening that did not work at all.

It gets worse. While I was getting fitted for the crown (800 bucks out of my pocket btw) the guy in the chair next to me was groaning in pain. I have no idea what they were doing to him but i know it hurt. In sum: DON’T GO TO THIS DENTIST.

I've been going Dr. Acuetsa for years now and she is a terrific dentist. She's gentle, nice, does great work and works really well with your insurance plan. As a bonus, she's got a friendly and funny bedside manner. She's completely turned my mouth around! Her dental and front end staff are all very helpful and friendly.
