the 5 stars for the office was one of the main reasons why I decided to visit this office. On the day of my appointment, it was pushed from its original time to 20 minutes later, due to scheduling on their end. Fine, that’s alright a 20 minute gap is no big deal, right? I get to the office, 15 minutes before my time as a courtesy. However, after I got there it was probably one of the worst dental experience I’ve had. First off, I don’t know why the front desk takes a photo of me and then proceeds to say it’s an awkward photo, as if I’m here for the met gala or something? why don’t you try looking chipper and model-like after 9 hours of working during 100° weather. So, I got to the dental office at 5:35 and left at 7:30. That’s how long it took to get a basic dental cleaning.

But it gets worse, after my scans and x ray, I am seated in the room waiting for the dentist. The dentist comes by creates a laundry list of issues with my teeth and then leaves to go tend to another patient. Left me in the room for almost 25 minutes while he goes to tend another patient. He comes back, starts the cleaning BUT then stops after doing half the cleaning to go talk to someone(probably the patient he was working on as I heard him prescribe when to come back). However, I Don’t think it’s professional to stop treatment halfway. But anyways, he comes back, completes the cleaning but then decides not to apply the prophylaxis to compete the cleaning, which is standard at virtually every dental practice. After I confront the dentist about this, he says the prophylaxis is unnecessary and can be abrasive in some cases, yet fails to distinguish between some cases and my case.

The dentist informed me that I had moderate inflammation in my gums so I’d assume that the use of the prophylaxis would be warranted in this case, right? Furthermore there was no mouthwash given to me during or after the cleaning to sterilize my gums. The overall experience was just plain bad and honestly it felt like some kind of discrimination was going on against me. In a day and age where brown people and Muslims are being targeted for simply existing, it’s disheartening to have it affect the quality of medical treatment. At the end of it, the dentist seemed extremely unbothered and was far from apologetic or empathetic. Seems like his front desk was more sorry than he was if anything. If this is how new patients at this practice are treated, then I want no part of it and will not come back again for treatment.

Dr. Josh is an excellent dentist! Very professional, gentle, and thorough. The office is clean and welcoming, and the staff is friendly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality dental care.

I went in for the routine dental cleaning and deep cleaning at Luna Dental this month. Needless to say, I believe I have found the dental office that I can trust due to the professionalism, care and hospitality that they have provided during my visits. The services I received were prompt, kind and pleasant. Shout out to, Pooja from the office who was incredibly helpful with all the administrative process. The quality of care and services I’ve received is unmatched. I’ve never felt this comfortable at a dentist and never knew one could feel this at ease at any of the dentist appointment.

10/10, will visit again for all other future appointments. Thank you Luna Dental for making sure my experience is wonderful. If anyone in the area looking for a dentist they can trust, please give them a try. You won’t disappoint. If anything, you will leave very satisfied with a beautiful smile.

My family and I were looking for a new dental practice to get our annual dental cleanings and scheduled appointments after leaving our old dentistry. Firstly I would like to say that Pooja was beyond fantastic. She is professional, honest and incredibly down to earth. Our dental hygienist was Elizabeth, whose clamming demeanor and gentle approach was greatly appreciated given that I have anxiety and sensitivity issues.

We all agreed collectively that her outstanding cleaning is the best we’ve ever had as a family. The two lovely female x-ray technicians were also sweet, polite, friendly and guided us throughout the panoramic x-ray / oral scans. Dr. Ishal was one of the only dentist I’ve had the pleasure of speaking to that had no airs.

He was extremely thorough in his examination when discussing recommendations regarding my oral care. He was absolutely phenomenal and spoke to us with kindness and sincerity. Great chair side manner!! We appreciated all of the professionalism and personalized care that we were given today by everyone from Luna Dentistry.
