M. J. Dental with Dr. Miranda Li is a game-changer for anyone who dreads dental visits. Dr. Li’s calm, thorough approach made my recent crown replacement stress-free—she walked me through 3D scans of my tooth and explained every step, which put my mind at ease. My wife, who’s had bad experiences in the past, now actually looks forward to cleanings because the hygienists are so gentle.

The office is modern and spotless, with a relaxing vibe and friendly staff who remember our coffee orders. They offer evening hours that fit our work schedules and handle insurance paperwork without a hitch. What stands out most is Dr. Li’s honesty—she only recommends what’s necessary. We’re so glad we found this place.

I've been a dental patient of Dr. Miranda Li's since childhood, I think it's about time I write her a proper review :) TLDR; Professionalism: 8/10 (she rushes her assistant for tools a lot making me feel a little anxious sitting in the chair as a patient) Exam room cleanliness/hygiene: 11/10 General Staff: 10/10 Responsiveness: 11/10 Bedside manner: 10/10 Skill and expertise: 10/10 Background: I'm a 31 y. o. Chinese Canadian female, hardly any cavities throughout my life, dental cleaning maybe once every two years (because I usually take good care of my teeth). 3 out of 4 wisdom teeth removed, all three were removed by Dr. Miranda Li. I saw another dentist in my building back in 2018, who removed minor staining from my molars and filled them but she did a poor job filling the molar in question, causing food to get stuck easily in the crevices and a noticeable cavity ensued March 3, 2020. I tried booking an appointment with her but her next availability was March 23rd even though I told them I was in pain (who has time to wait that long when you're in pain?!) On March 6th, I reached out to Dr. Li's office hoping she could see me about my tooth pain. I had discovered the potential cavity the night before (see 'before and after' photos attached) and the past few days leading up to March 6th, I was experiencing pain coming from my upper left, second molar from the back whenever I chewed on food. I panicked as I never get cavities and thought it might be bad (i. e.

maybe a root canal needed) due to the pain I was experiencing. Dr. Li's secretary, Emily, was so kind enough to triage me with Dr. Li over the phone that morning and squeezed me in for an emergency consult. That was it, from that moment, I felt so grateful that she would see me so soon let alone squeeze me in that same day! Given the COVID situation, Dr. Li and her staff were very careful with COVID protocols. You get sprayed down head to toe with their high-tech disinfecting machine, they disinfect the door handles whenever anyone comes in, and go above and beyond with PPEs. Dr. Li's assistant (I forget her name, sorry), was very kind and patient with me throughout the entire process and was overall, a lovely assistant. During the whole examination, Dr. Li was super informative and talked me through all the possibilities and explained her approach to matters like mine. She explained that given the level of pain, she prefers to take the less invasive (fillings) route for procedures and only more invasive (root canal) procedures if the pain doesn't go away and proceeded to talk me through things I should look out for after the filling was complete (i.

e. persistent pain, discomfort, and what not to eat). She took a lot of time explaining everything so that was really nice coming from a patient and knowing all my options. I had scaling and buffering done before the filling, local anaesthetic to the affected area, the entire procedure took ~1. 5hrs. I didn't feel any pain or discomfort during and it was an overall pleasant experience. It's been a few days since my fillings and I'm experience no pain whatsoever! Dr. Li did a miraculous job and saved me from a potential root canal (those things are no joke to your sanity and your bank). One con I'd like to add to my experience is that she verbally tells her assistant to "hurry up" in mandarin, which comes off little anxious to me (I'm very sensitive to people who are anxious), so it makes me feel a little anxious sitting in the chair. But, above all, her skill and expertise are well worth the minor anxiety I feel when I'm there, hahaha. I highly recommend Dr. Miranda Li

Dr. Li is truly exceptional. She recently extracted a very stubborn tooth for me, and her gentle made the entire procedure almost painless. Her meticulous attention to sterilization put me at ease throughout the process.

Beyond her technical expertise, Dr. Li's caring nature is evident in her post-operative follow-up. Her ability to communicate fluently in both Mandarin and English made the entire experience seamless. Highly Recommend！👍

Dr Li is a very nice dentist, always greeting her patients with a smile. She is also very attentive to the patients. She takes pride in her profession and keeps a high standard in the quality of her work. The clinic is always kept clean and sanitized. The equipment and materials she uses are of top quality. Dr. Li, she is professional in handling all my oral concerns, explaining in detail the way of flossing for a root canaled tooth, and the crowned tooth.

Each time after the visitation, she reminds me to eat or drink only after 30 minutes, be careful when chewing hard food (e. g. nuts) in order to protect the teeth. She also reminds me to eat before each visit so that I won't go starving during the treatment. By the way, the appointments are always on time. Thanks for her services!
