They didn’t listen to what I needed. Told them what I was there for and they focused on a different tooth instead. Didn’t even take an xray of the right tooth. Had to stop the dentist when he walked in and explain I was there for something else. So now I owe them $$ for an xray I didn’t need. The dentist himself was off putting and unprofessional.

He walked into the room and immediately started complaining about a co worker to me. He gave me the feeling I should seek a second opinion. When he left the room the assistant said ‘I always tell people to get a second opinion. ’ Had to call them twice to follow up about something and the receptionist was rude. Hung up on me both times without even saying good bye.

Dental visits can already be stressful, and a little kindness goes a long way—but unfortunately, that was missing here. My brother had an appointment and the experience was horrible. The dentist is very insensitive to his patients. It is VERY important to be mindful of what/how you say things.

To tell a patient that already has insecurities that “At his age his teeth looks like someone his age” AND also saying “ how can you keep up with your outer appearance(my brother has an athletic built), but not your oral hygiene”? It’s very insensitive. My brother or I could’ve said and you’re overweight, so why didn’t you keep up with your weight? Yet, here we are and that would’ve been insensitive. However, I’m making a comparison that it’s wise to be mindful about how and what you say to people as everyone doesn’t receive criticism well. Nevertheless, the experience wasn’t all that well for my brother, nor did he feel like anything was accomplished at the appointment.

I went to this exact dental office as a kid when it was Marion Dental, it’s not the same.
