Dr. Mikus came out to the waiting room to call me back immediately saying all his hygienists left after 2020. Really now? After an hour of literally scolding me for not flossing properly, telling me every detail he was doing and even insulting me, I can see why he has no hygienists. He's a mean old curmudgeon. He was awful, mean, condescending and I'll never go back.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Awful dentist. Does horrible work. Will tell you you don’t have cavities when you do and all the work he does just falls out. And not to mention he’s rude and can’t get anyone to work for him. He is the hygienist and the dentist. Does it all because all his hygienist quit on him. Can’t even get temporary help.

Started going here shortly during COVID and continued going up until a year ago. Within the first appointment I was told what a shame it is that my smile is ruined by my crooked front teeth. I swallowed how insecure that made me feel as he was the only dentist who could take my insurance and had openings at the time. Before him I was told by another dentist that I had 4 root canals, I did not, just cavities. He took care of that and aside from one tooth I never lost filling.

However, the hammer in the nail was when I went back for an annual cleaning. All of but one of his hygienists had quit at this point and he had a new one shadowing him. He made a point to come into my room to question me about what I would be able to financially afford when it came to my dental care. Any answer of “not enough money” warranted a shameful response. I could tell by the faces on both of those women that they knew how uncomfortable and upset it was making me.

I don’t know what a hygienist could learn from this that they don’t already know or will soon find out. I left feeling absolutely ashamed of how poor I am and it did not help with the anxiety that comes from dental appointments.

Very good will be honest about issue doesnt try and sell things like other dentists understand my insurance only covers fillings and cleanings
