I visited this dental office today and it was great! The front desk staff was super friendly, and the dentist was really knowledgeable. The office itself is clean and calming which made the whole experience way more relaxed than I expected. Everyone was super helpful, and I left feeling great. Highly recommend this office!

On a Nov saturday morning, I had visited this location due to my son fall accidentally ending up with a loosen and bleeding tooth. The receptionists definately has no attitude to serve and refused to arrange me an appointment. Upon approaching, I waited until one of the ladies held up her head, and explained my reason for the visit, asked if a walk-in check up for emergency is available. Then the mature receptionist started to question me like: do you have a dentist? Do you have insurance? When did you have your son's X-ray? . . .

Gees, don't you know what is an emergency visit? I answered: Yes, and my dentist were in downtown, we dropped by due to an accident, and I couldn't remember when but IF AN EMERGENCY CHECK UP IS AVAILABLE? And the mature receptionist started to explain it is possible that an X-ray is demanded, and it will be something $190 in total, which may or may not be included by the insurance blablabla. . . I had to interrupt, as what I may understand, the dentist may or may not request this X-ray and I will let the dentist decide, you don't need to explain to me why and yes or not but IF AN EMERGENCY CHECKUP IS AVAILABLE? Ahha! This crazy lady replied dryly: no, in this case there is no availability today. Geez, then why did you wasted my time? Then I just simply drove 2 min to the next block and visited another friendly, clean, and busy family dental office, got filled in an appointment within 30min waiting but happily checked up. Yes X-ray included for about $190 but do I care? If I've decided to visit a dentist for emergency I cared only about today or now! I was pissed off completely.

Your receptionist did not serve customer appropriately, and refused to serve a walk-in customer, maybe just because she thought her policing-like manner in questioning customers should be responded ideally according to her script. I still don't understand why X-ray should be a problem if all what I wanted to know is IF AN EMERGENCY CHECKUP IS AVAILABLE. Good attitude, keep it up and seat 2 receptionists for no patient waiting at all on Sat.

My family and I have been with Dr C & staff since 2001 and have had nothing but positive experiences. Lari is sweet & terrific with the front of the house operations. She takes care of submitting our insurance forms, a service few offices provide. Jessica is an amazing hygienist and so very kind. Dr C has always given us the best gentle care one could ever expect. Highly recommend this office!

Dr Kwok is god sent. I have always had a lot of dental anxiety and Dr Kwok and her team really put me at ease. Her dentistry is a work of art. Thanks Dr Kwok for my beautiful smile. I also love, love, love Linus, the official therapy dog of Markham Dental Smiles and cutest dog ever!!!!
