Excellent office management, wait times minimal. Staff very courteous and helpful. Doctor Iyer is excellent, easy to communicate with and a good listener, and obviously very skilled at her chosen field. It also helped that my surgery went effortlessly, presumably the extraction was not “ stubborn”.

Everyone was very kind. And took great care of me. Got my wisdom teeth removed and the procedure was quick and right after they were very supportive considering I was very emotional. Later that day the doctor called me to check in on how everything was going and made sure things were going well. They were very helpful.

My overall experience was not bad, but I had an appointment for 1:45pm, arrived around 1:35pm (10 minutes early) and was not called back until 2:20pm. Then, I still had to wait after my BP was checked until 2:40pm (I was texting a friend at the time and have the time stamps because I was getting a bit irritated). I don’t think I would have gone through the trouble of providing a negative review if my only problem was the wait because I get that things can get backed up.

However, when my oral surgeon came in, I felt like she was rushing and didn’t truly consult me? I had come in because my orthodontist recommended that I get my top wisdom teeth removed but told me to get an additional consultation and my dentist told me my top left gum was inflamed. I was hoping to ask some questions and get an actual opinion on whether my wisdom teeth should get removed, but the oral surgeon ended up just telling me she could remove my bottom wisdom teeth but removing the top would be an issue since they were so deep. That’s fine, but then I only got to ask one question before she called someone to take me to get my surgery scheduled.

I just felt rushed and like my understanding of my own procedure was not a priority. I ended up getting a second opinion and was told not to get my wisdom teeth removed.

I knew I was going to be in good hands the moment I entered the office. They were all accommodating! I had my extractions done on Friday, the 9th of May. Everything went smoothly! Dr Iyer has magical hands! With all the teeth she extracted from me, i didnt feel any discomfort after.

My face didnt swell at all! The staff were amazing! I didnt have questions to ask because dr Malini Iyer said everything that I needed to know. I even got a follow up call on the day of extraction, checking up on me. 🥰 thank you, MOSA Bethesda!!! I am grateful to all of you!!!
