I’ve had both cleaning and cosmetic work done at Maxson dental. Both were off the charts amazing, and the entire staff is so nice and helpful. Dr. Maxson himself is extremely thorough, honest and detail oriented. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wonderful dental practice.

They did an amazing job with our daughter's first dentist appointment! They let her touch the instruments before using them and helped her feel comfortable with getting her teeth cleaned. She's excited for the dentist thanks to them which is a huge win on our side for helping instill healthy cleaning habits at a young age.

We would not recommend this dental practice to anyone. We were patients there for several years and sadly saw the practice going downhill. Apart from the fact that they are out-of-network with every insurance carrier, our in-office dental care became much more erratic in recent years, which includes now a throat massage to check glands (?), facial rubbing and touching (?) which both my husband nor I cared for at all, and also blood pressure checks. . . ? These things were very out of the norm for us in terms of high-quality dental care we'd received previously, and made us both very uncomfortable at standard cleaning appointments. Which then prompted us to search for a new dental home.

We had already moved our four children from Dr. Maxson's practice to a pediatric dentist, who's been fabulous and now we have left as well. Our biggest concern, however, was the treatment of their patients by the office receptionist, Jessica. She was extremely challenging to work with, rude and very unprofessional. Patient concerns and frustrations were handled by her in an appalling manner that was horrific to see as a paying patient. Being the face of the office as the receptionist, her treatment of patients was in no way professional or courteous which prompted us to alert family and friends to avoid this practice at all costs. Patient concerns and frustrations should be handled in a kind, respectable and accountable manner.

Aside from the fact that the receptionist is also Dr. Maxson's spouse, it was extremely disheartening to see how patients are treated when they have a question or concern. If you are seeking high-quality dental care in a professional, reputable setting, I would strongly suggest you look elsewhere. It is not worth the treatment you'll receive from the office staff. We've found a new dental home we are thrilled with, and will not recommend this practice or staff to anyone.
