This office is very busy and hard to get a cleaning every 6 months. I really like Dr. Tran but I ended up seeing Dr. Denton and had a very bad experience.

It felt very rushed and did not explain everything and never did do my fluoride treatment which I had to go back and do and didn't do a lot of other things that they normally do in an appointment. It felt rushed. I ended up switching to a different location.

Dr. Louie is the best dentist I ever had. She is so professional and KIND. All the staff are also the best. Even the receptionist is personable and able to get your next appointment scheduled quickly. Even though I don't live in Lakeville anymore, I still will make the trip to Lakeville just to keep Dr Louie as my dentist .

Appointments are hard to get. I have 2 cracked teeth and the soonest available appointment they had to get the crowns they say I need is 3 months from now. They somehow lost my account and I have been a patient for over 20 years. Had an appointment scheduled and on the day of they said I wasn’t even in their system. I had the text messages with the appointment confirmation that was made 6 months in advance to prove I was a patient and had an appointment and they had to “fix” the system to restore my account.

Needless to say they couldn’t see me that day and I had taken time off work. They are closed on Friday’s and don’t have any evening appointment times. The clinic doesn’t send in formal estimates to insurance at least from my experience and so they don’t have accurate information but yet they charge you for the estimated payment they think will be due, up front only to have to reimburse you once insurance pays. I have not been happy with this place for a long time. Oh and you used to be able to go to any metro dental clinic and all locations could see your care history but that is no longer an option so if you want to go to a different location they consider you a new patient and can’t see your history any longer.

None of this is customer friendly. Very dissatisfied.

Love the team at Metro Dentalcare Lakeville Cedar. Receptions are always friendly, polite and helpful; I've seen several different hygenesists and they've all been great; and Dr. Denton and Dr. Tran are both fantastic!
