Detailed Introduction

MetroHealth Dental Associates is a key component of The MetroHealth System, a comprehensive healthcare network based in Cleveland, Ohio. This dental practice operates as a clinic within the larger system, providing a wide array of dental services for both children and adults. Their offerings include general dentistry, such as exams, cleanings, fillings, fluoride treatments, and dental x-rays. They also specialize in pediatric dentistry, offering compassionate care for children of all ages, including services like dental sealants, silver and tooth-colored fillings, and stainless steel crowns. Beyond general and pediatric care, MetroHealth Dental Associates provides more specialized services. This includes oral and maxillofacial surgery, addressing complex issues related to the jaw and face, as well as procedures for dental implants and impacted teeth. They also offer prosthodontic services, including dentures (partial and complete) and implant-supported prostheses, to address missing teeth. The clinic is equipped to handle dental emergencies, providing immediate care for pain, infection, or swelling. A notable aspect of MetroHealth's dental services is their commitment to integrated care, leveraging the resources of the entire MetroHealth System. This allows them to manage medically complex cases and offer advanced options like sedation and general anesthesia when necessary, particularly beneficial for patients with developmental disabilities. They also have an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program, indicating their involvement in training future dental professionals. Their dedication to community health is evident through affiliations with programs like the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities to expand access to care. Worst experience I could have imagined!!!! I'm 65 and I had to have my upper wisdom teeth pulled. They sent me home with low grade Tylenol and an oral rinse. I called backlate the same day and indicated that I was in alit of pain. I called back the next day and the day after. No one ever called me back. Thanks so much for your concern Dr Olivieri!!! I ended up in the er at university in conneaut Ohio as I live 90 miles away.

I had an infection in my. Jaw that affects the whole face and throat and ears. I had to call them on Monday after a weekend of hell. Only than did they care to see me back. I'm still in pain but at least I have some antibiotics to heal the infection!!! Don't go here for anything 🙏

They are quite literally the worst of the worst. Never have I ever received such poor service in my life. Their dentists are fine, but their bureaucracy is utterly ineffective and incapable of doing even the most basic of tasks. I tried rescheduling my wisdom tooth removal more than a month in advance, but, if I remember correctly, they would always tell me that they sent an email to request a rescheduling.

I would call a week later for an update, and they would do the same thing they did last week like a broken record. I decided to go over their heads and contact my dentist directly through mychart, but it was too late and the times he was available were not ideal. I decided to call them again one final time to reschedule it and they said the same thing again, at which point I decided to cancel the appointment entirely and schedule a new one a few weeks later. However, when I called later they told me they could not schedule a new one until 2 months from now.

I decided to find a different dentist entirely. Please, for the love of god, do not go to this dentist, you are going to regret it at some point.

I had to wait for several months before I could get in for surgery, due to the waiting list and my insurance. But I went today for a full set of teeth to be extracted. The staff was outstanding, Kelly, the nurse was AMAZING , kind, patient, and very supportive. Chris one of the assistants was great, very reassuring, understanding of my anxiety and answered all my questions.

I met Dr. Olivier for only a few minutes before surgery, but I felt comfortable and surgery went very smooth. I highly recommend this dental clinic.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. My adult daughter who has autism and is mostly non-verbal could not get any help from these people. She has cavities that need filled and wisdom teeth that need to come out and is in horrible pain. She saw them yesterday and they did nothing for her at that visit. “You just need to come back, and we will call you to schedule the wisdom teeth removal appointment. ” Wouldn’t even let us make an appointment right there.

Told us we need to go to another office for the cavity. I’ve called today and again asked for recommendations for pain relief since they can’t get her in anytime soon to address the problems. They said they would call me back today…. it’s closing time and…Crickets…. . nothing.

How can you leave someone in horrible pain and not care? Update: I was told that Antoinette was to call me by midday today (6/12) at the latest to help us figure out something for my daughter. (Review was left on 6/9). No call at all. Avoid this place if you can!
