After being with my previous dentist for over 20 years I made the switch to Michiana Family Dentistry and I couldn't be happier! The staff from the ladies up front to all the amazing people in back are simply amazing! I would recommend 1000 times! Thank you for always making me feel so comfortable when I have an appointment!

I called yesterday January 30, 2025 for severe tooth pain that another dentist's office scheduled to pull all the way in April, which was ridiculous. Instead Michiana Family Dental got me in the next morning. Staff was very nice and office was clean. Dr. Michalak did my extraction and she made me feel so comfortable and assured me that it would be a easy process.

During the extraction, I didn't feel anything, no pain at all. She was done within 10 minutes and I felt Soo much better after. I really recommend this office. I will be coming back as a regular patient for my dental care🥰

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! I have a permanent lingual nerve injury after having my wisdom teeth removed here, the left side of my mouth and tongue is permanently numb and painful. It was my only option as a medicaid patient in town, so despite the terrible customer service at the front desk and extremely clumsy hygienists banging their tools around hitting my teeth inside my mouth during initial appointments, I continued on. Huge mistake, I would give anything to go back in time and tell myself not to do it. The dentist bullied me about asking for sedation or gas for a procedure to remove ALL FOUR wisdom teeth AT ONCE. She got extremely rude with me.

During the procedure (which I was conscious for), I felt the dentist pressing with all her weight onto a tool in my mouth, felt her hand slip and immediately tasted lots of blood, while both her and the attending assistant got wide eyed looks on their face and seemed panicked. This was over a year ago and I still have painful numb/tingle sensation on the left side of my mouth, sometimes the pain is very intense and I can't eat or talk. My speech is impacted and I talk with a lisp now. I am one hundred percent sure that this is due to the horrible care and lack of professionalism at this clinic. I brought these issues up during a follow up appointment, only for the dentist to say "Oh, sorry about that, there's nothing we can do though.

" I have since switched to a provider over an hour away that takes medicaid, but it's worth the drive because that clinic is kind, clean, and the staff is gentle and professional. The dentists here should have their credentials REVOKED for FRAUD and HARM, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!! Oh and here's a picture I took in their waiting room that has half smoked cigarettes laying around.
