Had a wonderful experience there. I haven't been a patient for years. This review is mostly just to let Stormy know that I did finally get married! Hopefully, that alone speaks to how highly I think of the place!

I’ve been a patient at this office since I was 10 (now 17), and over the years, my experiences have consistently been more and more disappointing each time I go. The receptionists are often unwelcoming and give off a judgmental vibe, making check-in feel uncomfortable. The dental assistants are no better—they seem rushed, disengaged, and at times, outright rude. While they ask how I’m doing, their tone and demeanor make it clear they’re not interested in the answer.
The dentist herself has always had a cold, rushed approach. She’s rough during procedures and doesn’t take the time to ensure patient comfort. On multiple occasions, she’s chatted with her assistant about unrelated and uncomfortable topics while working on my teeth, which feels unprofessional. The overall lack of care, both in attitude and in practice, makes for an unpleasant experience every visit.
If you’re looking for a dental office that prioritizes patient comfort and professionalism, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

I always feel valued and that I am actively involved in the decision making for my oral health. On that note, I feel like my medicare benefits are being used up on services that could be done all at once. I didn't appreciate a referral to an out of network oral surgeon and then I had to find one myself. I just need some teeth pulled, not surgery.

Dr. Arts and her hygienists are great to work with. They care about their patients and make sure they are comfortable. I was happy with my care and will continue to make Midwest Dental my choice for dental care.
