Beautiful Folk
The service was terrible from setting up my dental appointment . I called September 9,2022 and I was told they could not get me in until October 11,2022 An entire month and 2 days later. But because If was near my home and My insurance I took the appointment. I arrived for my appointment at 8:00 am and I was greeted and given paperwork. I patiently as I watched the employees rush in. After 12 minutes. I’m taken back and was informed X-rays would be needed.
The assistant took a long time as well because the assistant could not get any of the X-rays clear enough to be seen, so she kept retaking them over . After sometime I was taken to a cubicle. We sat for awhile holding a full conversation on what was we were going to be doing for the weekend , finally the Assistant yells out to a guy walking pass ,hey do you want to do a exam? He replied ,”I guess”! He walked in introduce himself and sat down and the assistant began to chart. The entire exam had only taken 8 minutes! The Dentist then stands up and say,” Give her a Treatment Plan” and asked if I had questions? I questioned some concerns and he he addressed them quickly as he was getting up and taking he removed his gloves. He then tells the assistant to ,”“Print everything up and give it to her. ” He leaves and goes to the next cubicle. The assistant began gathering information from her computer telling me she’s going to give me the total cost of everything and she would explain it .
I began to question my concerns for each question with the paperwork I received from her she stated would check it out and get back with me. And she leaves comes back and tell me they have to send me to a specialist somewhere else! And to make sure it’s covered first before I go to just to make sure it’s in Network. I Asked her would I be having a cleaning today ? She states Oh not day! As I’m accepting my paperwork with all the amounts that it would cost me. Which was ,”The treatment plan!” And after looking over the paper work I tell the assistant that I would rather have an extraction of tooth instead of saving it. She leaves comes back with the Dentist who ask why would I get a extraction instead of saving the tooth? I explained to him because I had previous work done on the same tooth and I would rather have it extraction instead of spending thousands “More” dollars on the same tooth! he replied we can’t do that here! I’m totally baffled! At this point! So I asked for my X-rays and a release form. I will go somewhere where the value my wants and not just money hungry!
