I was referred to Dr. Shin by my general dentist (also Dr. Shin—fun coincidence!) for a tooth that had been bothering me for years. Despite multiple visits, my previous dental office never identified the issue. In hindsight, I’d recommend steering clear of large franchise dental chains—they often have high staff turnover and less experienced providers. But that’s a story for another time. From the moment I met Dr.

Shin, I felt heard. He took the time to listen to my symptoms, carefully reviewed my X-rays and CT scan (really cool tech I’ve seen in a dental office), and walked me through several treatment options. He explained the pros and cons of each, both from a medical and financial standpoint, which I really appreciated. I chose the option he recommended and ended up having two root canal sessions. Dr. Shin was incredible—he explained every step, made sure I was comfortable, and earned my full trust. I actually fell asleep during both procedures, which is wild considering I can’t even do that during a massage! Briana was also amazing—thorough, kind, and clear when explaining post-op care.

I truly wish I had found this office sooner. Even though I’m moving to the Issaquah/Sammamish area soon, I plan to keep coming back here for any future endodontic needs. I highly recommend Dr. Shin and his wonderful team. They’re professional, compassionate, and truly top-notch.

Dr. Youn, Kara, and the whole team are amazing. I have been in the dental field for over 30 years and last week the tables had turned and I needed my first root canal. I knew what to expect but was still nervous. I had been in a lot of pain for 2 days and I knew I wanted it to stop. Everything was explained to me in great detail as to what they would be doing.

The whole procedure from eval to completion was done with in 2 hours. The professionalism and thoroughness surpassed my expectations. I not only felt comfortable but also feel VERY comfortable when we refer our patients there as well. When the numbing was gone a few hours after I was home, the pain I’d previously had was COMPLETELY gone. They are #1 in my book. Keep up the excellent work & care!

I recently went to Mill Creek Endodontics and Microsurgery for a root canal. Dr. Shin was wonderful and explained what he was going to do. It was so easy and comfortable. From the beginning to the end of the procedure, I was so relaxed. I even fell asleep! Dr.

Shin explained what had been done and the tooth was in good shape. When I got out of the chair, I felt very relaxed. There was absolutely no pain. I highly, I really mean highly, recommend Dr. Shin, his assistant Kara and his entire staff.

I was so scared and anxious going into getting a root canal on a "hot tooth" because my primary dentist numbed me up to work on a cavity but I could still feel everything they were doing. I let Kara and Dr. Shin know how I was feeling and they made sure to numb me up extra and it was successful, I didn't feel a single thing they were doing.

I made my first appointment, got seen, and then got the treatment all within 1 week of the start of my tooth problems. 12/10 recommend
