Horrible middle aged receptionist. I live in the area since 2008 and decided to call about dental cleaning for OW recipients for my “girls” (children) the receptionist mentioned that ow don’t cover for teeth cleaning only emergency work like tooth extractions. I mentioned if she’s familiar with healthy smiles and she mentioned yes they don’t cover for tooth cleaning. upon doing my own research it states that healthy smiles cover teeth cleaning. I called back and spoke to the same receptionist and explained that teeth cleaning is covered under healthy smiles coverage for children.
She then says that I never mentioned it was for my daughters I said yes I did and she proceeded to laugh on the phone. I was shocked with her customer service. I hung up the phone and walked across the street to their office and asked for a manager. Let’s just say the conversation didn’t go well. There was no acknowledgment for their bad customer service instead the manager mentioned it could be a misunderstanding.
The receptionist was called in to the room and blandly lied in my face and said I never mentioned my children. I said I did mention teeth cleaning for my girls and asked if she’s familiar with healthy smiles coverage. There was no misunderstanding, this clinic discriminates against OW recipients and I will be following up with the human rights tribunal of Ontario (HRTO) and filing a claim against this business.

I was extremely nervous to see the dentist after a long time not going. Rachel lim was my hygienist, and let me tell you she was amazing. She checked on my comfort constantly and my x-rays only took 2 seconds, something I always dread. It was a great experience and I'll never see anyone else. Highly recommend visiting her. Her fun personality made it a great experience.

Dr. Stewart Chin has been my family's dentist for almost 2 decades. He is an honest, knowledgeable and conservative dentist. He is always professional, respectful and friendly and makes you feel at ease and comfortable. His staff and Office Manager also help to make this office so wonderful. I would recommend this office to all of my family and friends.
