05-23-2025. Today I got my tooth pulled at Mint dentistry. My entire experience was amazing from the time I walked in the door till the time I left the building. I would like to personally thank Ms. Jackie Dennis and Dr. Akins.

Not only did Dr. Akins work timely and proficient she also made sure there was not a moment of discomfort. Ms. Dennis is a great communicator and made sure I knew what was going on every step of the way. I’m def going to come back and get all my dental work done here.

Do not fall for the fancy reception of the service. This place should be ashamed of how they operate. I recently went for a cleaning and once I got in the chair they told me they were going to do a simple cleaning just as I scheduled which my insurance paid for. I waited for so long for the Dentist to come in and speak with me. She started ordering all types of things for down the line it was very overwhelming. Then right before they got started the receptionist came in and said let me go over the prices with you then you can decided if you'd like to stay. I was thrown all the way off.

I said I have health insurance. The receptionist said it don't cover cleanings. I said yes it does. She then said we'll not the kind we suggest you need a deep cleanin. This was totally outrageous. I have been going to the same Dentist for 15 years and anytime I needed a deep cleaning they never told me to pay $315. 00 out of pocket.

This place should be investigated. I refused to pay and left. Please do your research before going here. I also called my coverage before going here. The receptionist was very personal and seemed to not understand that patients have a choice if they want a deep cleaning or not. It is not mandatory.
