I made an appointment with Mint dentistry and finally went to my appointment a couple of days ago . Upon entering Mint dentistry the gentleman at the desk was on the phone so I wasn’t immediately greeted . Once I was called and sent to the back , the nurse advised me about a cleaning and how if I got a cleaning I wouldn’t be covered with my insurance for the rest of the year . I advised the nurse that I wasn’t there for a cleaning I was there for teeth whitening.
So the nurse then tells me they don’t do in house teeth whitening they give you a teeth whitening kit to take home. So now I am annoyed because I have took this 45 minute drive to Mint dentistry for the commercial to be mis leading . When I made the appointment t nobody advised me that this would not be an in house teeth whitening service . So if you are listening to the commercial advertising teeth whitening please be aware that this is not in house teeth whitening.
I also found out that insurance does not cover in house teeth whitening which is something I should have been informed of as well when I originally made my appointment.

I was absolutely apprehensive about being at the dentist but knew I needed it. They devised a plan and informed me thoroughly of what they thought the best plan of action was. In the end they respected my timeline of when and how I wanted to proceed.
Immaculate facility and very relaxed atmosphere but I felt extremely comfortable because all of my concerns were addressed thoroughly with knowledge and professionalism. Outstanding staff…I would highly recommend this facility. 💯💯💯

I originally made an appointment for my daughter on 5/28/25. Was informed that my insurance was accepted there. I later get a call stating that it was accepted but the Dentist that my daughter would be seeing is still waiting on their credentials mind you I never got a chance to listen to the message when they were trying to call and inform me because I was already en route for the appointment. The front desk manager informed me I will have to reschedule for a later date for the following week and the Dentist will have their credentials by my next appointment. On 6/4/25 we went to her appointment no issue or problems my daughter was able to start her treatment.
She had a f/u appointment today 6/17/25 I get there and I was informed we tried to reach you to inform you that the dentist that’s working today doesn’t have the proper credentials to see your daughter and you will have to reschedule this appointment. Now the front desk manager never informed me that I will run into this issue again. My questions was after she was treated by the first dentist why would you all schedule my daughter on a day and the dentist who originally seen her is not available? It’s a inconvenience to someone’s time and the treatment that’s needed. She goes to say well you can pay for the treatment out of pocket, like the treatment ain’t over a 1,000 plus dollars. How insensitive when we have a whole PPO insurance that’s covering almost the whole treatment plan.
If you don’t know for sure when the dentist will have the proper credentials you shouldn’t speak on it and give the patients false hope. After today’s visit I will be taking my services else where. P. S clean that filthy bathroom it’s worst than the first visit

I made an appointment for me and my daughters for 12/20/24. After the appointment was made, I received a text saying the office would be closed and I had to reschedule. I then made an appointment for us for 5/16/25. After that appointment was made, I received a text saying the provider that took my insurance wouldn't be in that day and I had to reschedule. With no complaints or any questions regarding those 2 situations, I then made an appointment for us for 6/4/25. I had a 1:30pm appointment confirmed for both of my daughter's and a 3pm appointment for myself.
These appointments were all confirmed by text. I got to the dentist office at 1:20pm today and was told that one of my daughter's appointment had to be rescheduled because her appointment was at 12:45pm. I was also told that my other daughter's appointment was scheduled for 1pm and my appointment was for 1:30pm. I showed the receptionist my text, which were all confirmed, and she told me there was nothing that could be done for my first daughter. I told her to cancel us all and walked out of the office. It wasn't until I came back in to confront her about my frustration that she told me that she could try to get us in today but couldn't guarantee a time due to other patients who had confirmed times.
I explained to her that my appointment times were confirmed and had proof. She said she couldn't guarantee anything because her system showed different. I understand that some offices my over book appointments to assure slots are being filled, but there should be some accommodations being made with compassion to your patients. I scheduled my work day around these appointments and to continue being canceled and/or times being moved around is definitely not a good way to do business. I hope that someone takes this review and makes changes to ensure that your current and future patients don't experience the same unfortunate events that I had to experience.
