This has been my second visit with Dr.Laythe and so far so good. He seems to be very knowledgeable and explains everything before he actually does it. I am in the process of getting all my teeth removed and getting upper and lower implants. I’m so happy that I chose Dr.Laythe as my dentist.

I was scheduled for composite bonding with Dr. May at Molson Park Dental in Barrie after having an initial consultation in November 2024. I took time off work and prepared carefully for my appointment on July 2, 2025, following all recommended steps like whitening my teeth and arranging transportation from Orangeville. In the days before my appointment, I sent some questions about the procedure, including what materials would be used, whether I could see a digital mock-up of the expected results, and how Dr.

May would ensure the bonded teeth wouldn’t look bulky. On the morning of my appointment, while I was already halfway there, I received a call from the office coordinator telling me that Dr. May was no longer comfortable proceeding because I had asked too many questions. I felt dismissed for trying to do my due diligence before committing to an elective cosmetic procedure.

I believe patients should be encouraged to ask questions to ensure informed consent. My appointment was canceled at the last minute, wasting my time off work and leaving me disappointed. I would not recommend this office to those who want clear communication and the opportunity to advocate for themselves before undergoing treatment.
