I am a regular customer for mi-dental Mississauga Erin Center clinic but this time WORST experience, I took my 4 years old son for the first time to them with their so called experienced child specialist Dr. IMAN, who has no experience to deal with kids and seems a novice doctor. My son had a cavity in his tooth and had a tooth ache. . I booked an apptointment with her and she just did a pulpotomy and scheduled another appointment for filling for the same tooth. She put the nitrious oxide on his nose for 30 min whereas she took permission for 10 mins, my son was so uncomfortable with her but still let her do the procedure and what she did was just pulpotomy with temporary filling and asked us to come again next week and said he has another filling on the other side and I will do the both fillings next week.

So we went to her again today, she started with the syringe to numb his specific area on both side at the same time with 4 years old and was putting a mouth prop in his mouth. Few mins Iater I noticed blood was coming from his lips, I asked her to check and let me see if my son is fine, she said let me work and don't disturb. I then strictly told her to take a look and check first so she said it was the syringe spot where the blood is coming out. She said if you don't let me work I will not do the filling on the other side, I then asked her why did she put the syringe when she was not going to touch it. She said I don't have time now, my other patients are waiting. I had to hold my son tightly and let him cry so that she completes the process, while I was holding him and telling him to calm down she stepped out from the room and said wait at the reception to sharpen his filled teeth as she had another patient waiting.

She then called back again to complete it and when I told her to do the filling on the other side she said now we will do it after two weeks as we were only booked for 15 mins and this work cannot be done in this time. However when I was booked it was told that it will be a 30 mins appointment. Seems they have a clear issue of miss-communication between admin and dentist. She should have not put the syringe on that side when she was not ready to fill the teeth? My son had a nightmare with that doctor and dentist trauma now in the early age. It was the WORST experience with her.

Terrible Experience❌ I had a cleaning done at this clinic about six months ago, and two days after, while flossing as usual, a whole wall of one of my healthy teeth suddenly broke off. At first, I thought maybe my tooth was weak or unhealthy, so I didn’t immediately blame the cleaning. Fast forward six months, I went to a different dentist for another cleaning, and he immediately noticed the damage. He told me that my tooth was completely healthy and that the way it broke suggested that someone had caused it during cleaning! 😔This means the previous dentist most likely damaged my tooth while working on it. Because of this, I had to get a completely unnecessary filling on a perfectly healthy tooth. It is absolutely unacceptable that such a simple procedure just a cleaning could lead to such serious damage. Update: After posting my initial review, the clinic contacted me.

I was hopeful they would help clarify what happened or at least explain the situation professionally. Unfortunately, the experience was even more disappointing. Instead of listening or offering any explanation, the person I spoke to was extremely rude. She laughed at my concerns and made fun of what I said—as if I’m supposed to know everything about dentistry. I even asked if they could just look at the tooth to see what might have gone wrong, and she said I would need to pay just for them to check if they were responsible. That’s honestly shocking. Whether they are at fault or not, the way I was treated was disrespectful and unprofessional.

I wasn’t looking for blame, I just wanted clarity. Instead, I was mocked and dismissed. I expected better from any healthcare provider. Very disappointing overall.
