Wanted to share my Align (Orthodontal) experience with this dentist office. I used to go to another Mondovi in another state and transferred to this one when I moved. The hygienists are always great and I would recommend coming here for dental cleaning needs. However, I would strongly recommend not letting your dentist talk you into getting "Align" which is the knock-off brand of Invisalign here (or really any place that does not have a trained Orthodontist on staff). Dr. Sachdev was the one administering my Align treatments and each time I visited, he never explained what was going to happen and always seemed like he never knew what he was doing when he was attaching the "buttons" (things on your teeth to make the trays move your teeth). I was in there for over an hour once because each button he put on my teeth would then fall off right after. I was told my teeth would only take about 8 months to be fixed since I had a light case. I paid for the whole thing upfront and after months I really wasn't noticing a lot of change.

I expressed this to Dr. Sachdev and he said we had to continue with each tray even if they weren't fitting properly. He refused to make space in between my teeth for the other teeth to be able to shift into place. I wasted 8 months of my time with literally zero change in my teeth. THEN, after all that, they tell me I need to get more trays and do impressions again after consulting with Align. I came in for new impressions, and was told they would be done in a few weeks. Over 2 months go by with no phone call. I called the office to inquire about the why I have not been contacted to come back in, and they said "oh, no one told you that Dr. Sachdev left the practice?" I was flabbergasted.

Then, they told me they needed to refer me out to another Orthodontist to get this finished and that I would most likely need to pay again because the new Orthodontist didn't use Align, they used Invisalign. The new Orthodontist I am going to was able to accommodate me after telling them my horror story with Dr. Sachdev and Mondovi Dental and they are treating me free of charge. My teeth have shifted more in 3 months than they have in the 8 months I was getting treatment from Mondovi. Maybe this is my fault for trusting my dentist when he recommended doing orthodontal work there, but I will never trust any place that does not have an actual Orthodontist on staff to treat me. DO NOT get any orthodontist treatment from Mondovi Dental. Do your research and find an Orthodontist. I am now going to Nutmeg Orthodontics in Windsor and couldn't be happier with my experience.

Worst Experience I have ever had at a dentist! I went to Dr. Lipmans office for years with no issues what so ever, and when Mondovi took over it went straight into the toilet! I just left the office in total disgust, I was actually going to leave right out of the chair, the Hygienist who did my cleaning was so abrasive, awkward and rude, and inexperienced.

I left dumbfounded! I told her too how uncomfortable I felt and she was just more aggressive! As I exited, Jenn asked about my next appointment, I just said I'm all set! I will never use this dentist ever again!

I would have to agree with the other reviewers that stated this place went downhill after Dr. Lipman sold it. I didn't have issues with the cleanings, but as soon as I needed a crown the problems started. Dr. Sachdev forced the crown over my tooth and then said that it did not fit. However, he could not get it off because it was stuck on there so tight.

He told me to "get some really sticky candy and see if that will pull it off. " That was an immediate red flag, but he said he would order another crown that would fit better. On the way out I made another appointment and paid the $700+ for the crown. When I came back, the front staff told me that I wasn't booked for an appt to get my crown done. Only for a shorter appt. I had taken time off of work for this appt and it was a waste of time.

Fast forward to the next appt where the crown was finally completed, but only after being drilled off. They then tried to bill me ANOTHER $700+ for the second crown when they messed it up the first time! I finally had enough and switched to another dentist that family members recommended. Well, after getting some initial x-rays done at the new dentist, he told me that the crown didn't fit right and showed me the x-ray of how it came up over the sides of my tooth instead of being flush with the tooth. I'm now considering suing Mondovi for the money I wasted on their shoddy work since I will have to pay out of my pocket AGAIN to get the crown fixed. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE!

0 stars, I’ve been coming here since Doctor Lipman and never had an issue. I had an x ray 1 year ago and a cleaning 6 months ago, I had no issues. Came in today for a cleaning with Dr Mejia for the first time and she gives a treatment plan with 13 different procedures. I found a new dental office while I was in the parking lot.
