I have been going to Morristown Family Dental for the past 3-4 years. After my last visit, I had decided to change providers. As luck would have it, I lost track of time and my scheduled cleaning appointment popped up in my calendar before I had found another dentist. I had that appointment today and I’m actually happy that I hadn’t switched. The office is cleaner, brighter, and more professional looking (no more mold smell). The dentist who inspired me to switch is no longer there.

Two new dentists have joined the group. Both have strong training/educations. A new hygienist, Lucy, has also joined the team. She was friendly and very thorough. She was even able to get some old orthodontia cement off my teeth (finally)! I have hopes that Morristown Family Dental will be a 5-star practice.

Golden Sunshine

This review underscores the unexpected and significant practice management issue I experienced recently at Morristown Family Dental. As a long-term patient of Dr. M. K. and the practice, I have always been satisfied with the quality of care. However, during my recent visit, I was shocked to discover that the practice had undergone ownership changes and was now entirely staffed by new personnel.

As a loyal patient, I would have expected transparent communication from both the former and new ownership regarding such a significant transition. The complete lack of notification about this critical change significantly hindered my ability to make an informed decision about my dental care provider. The absence of this crucial information left me feeling misled and disappointed. Despite my surprise and discomfort with the situation, I chose to proceed with the appointment since I was already at the office. The dental hygienist who attended to me was competent and performed her duties exceptionally well, making me feel at ease throughout the cleaning process. However, when it came to the new dentist, I felt a mismatch in my expectations.

Amongst other things, my personal preference is to work with a dentist who has substantial experience and a proven track record, rather than someone newly out of dental school/residency with limited hands-on practice. In conclusion, the lack of clear communication regarding the ownership change has led to a serious breach of trust and professionalism that I cannot overlook. Therefore, I have decided not to return to Morristown Family Dental.

I had such a great experience at Morristown Family Dental! The staff was absolutely amazing-everyone was so welcoming, which was especially pleasing since it was my first visit. I found them through Google, and after reading all the positive reviews, I decided to give them a try. I couldn't be happier with my decision! I went in for a general teeth cleaning and was taken care of by their dental hygienist, Lucy Mays.

She was thorough and communicated with me throughout the process to ensure I was comfortable and pain-free. My teeth haven't felt this clean in ages! I'll definitely be returning to Morristown Family Dental. If you or anyone you know needs dental work, l highly recommend this place!

Morristown Family Dental really helped me when I needed it most. After calling a few places to schedule a same-day appointment to treat a gum infection, and running into some pretty rude and unhelpful people, Vanessa was a breath of fresh air: super friendly and empathetic. She was able to get me in right away and help me schedule exactly what I was looking for. Once there, the rest of the experience was just as great. Olga was super nice and accommodating as she took my x-rays. Jenny is a pro and gave me a very gentle and thorough cleaning, even with very sensitive gums.

Dr. Firouz is very knowledgeable and fully explained the state of my teeth and the steps to take to improve my dental health. They honestly went above and beyond to help me, especially since I don’t have dental insurance, and they were very flexible to get me the care I needed. Five Star experience. Never thought I’d ever actually look forward to returning to dentist!
