It was my first time visiting Mortenson and let me tell you it was a fantastic experience. Cam was very friendly and explained everything very thoroughly. The office was really clean and inviting.

Dr. Mina is very knowledgeable and experienced. I've avoided going to dentists because of bad experiences in the past, but not anymore. He makes sure his patients have a pain-free appointment.

My root canal was a breeze! I'm glad to have a dentist who does root canals and doesn't need to send me to a specialist to do those things if needed. I always thought I had to go out of town for a good dentist. Lucky to have a good dentist nearby!

I went in for some mild sensitivity on a tooth due to a "food trap". After the visit the filling was causing me sever pain and I went back to have it fixed. They couldn't find a problem other than fixing my bite. Came back another time to have it looked at again because the pain was still there, still could not find a problem and worked on my bite some more. I asked about a cracked tooth, or an issue with the filling itself as that is how they fix the trap. They said that they cannot see any problem. Then I made another appointment due to the same pain still being there, it was a couple weeks out and they put me on the cancelation list so if an appointment cancels I can get it, thats what I did today.

I get a call 5 minutes before my appointment stating that this is not enough time for a crown prep. The lady on the phone stays that the decay was deeper than they originally though. Decay? I asked what decay. "Well you got a filling for decay in your tooth" she said. I said "no I didn't I had a food trap not a cavity. " Of course im getting upset at this point (no cavities for 3 years). They she comes back and says I need a crown due to my cracked tooth.

So now I need to pay a $1000 for an issue I didn't have when I first went in. And which is it. . I have decay then I have a cracked tooth. I just wish they would at least have their stories straight. 😒

The entire staff at Mortenson Family Dental is always so kind and respectful. They answer all questions and address all concerns. Dr Kyro is by far THE BEST DENTIST not only in Seymour, but surrounding counties!! She always makes me feel heard and is the sweetest person! I refuse to see anyone else besides Dr Kyro.

The whole staff makes each visit very welcoming and friendly. Thank you Mortenson Family Dental for always going above and beyond for your patients! We appreciate it for sure.
