I just had TJR this week on Tuesday. I have been scared of this surgery since I was a kid due to my dentist and hygienist growing up telling me how horrible this surgery and I need to stop clicking (as if I had a choice lol) Honestly Dr. M and staff held my hand throughout this 5 yr process and even though it's still a long road, I can see the light at the end of this tunnel.

I can breathe better than in years already and my jaw pain isn't any worse than my bad days pre-op. I didn't walk into this process easily but I am so thankful for the care I've received. Movahed is the best!

Dr. Movahed is an incredibly skilled and caring surgeon. I had Double Jaw surgery in April because of a severe underbite that caused pain and clicking in my jaw, a dangerously narrow airway, breathing issues, headaches, and difficulty with chewing. He fixed all of these problems and improved my quality of life! Huge thanks to Dr.

Movahed and his team, they explained the process of the procedure very thoroughly and made a major surgery like this feel a lot less overwhelming. If you’re considering oral and maxillofacial surgery, I highly recommend Dr. Movahed.

Not only is Dr. Movahed the most amazing doctor I’ve ever met (knowledge base, skills, bedside manner and more) but he is accompanied by an incredible team of staff members that include nurses, nurse practitioners, myofunctional therapist, surgical coordinator, director of operations, treatment director and administrative/receptionists. I have been a patient at their practice for over 10 years now and I don’t know what I would do without them.

Dr. Movahed performed a LeFort 1 Segmental Osteotomy, Bilateral Total Joint Replacement (TJR), and Genioplasty back in December of 2016 due to my diagnosis of juvenile idiopathic arthritis. I cannot say thank you enough for all of their quality care over the years and I continue to attend appointments yearly.
