I was a patient at Myles family dentistry for the first time today. I was greeted kindly & the wait time was only but a minute (I did have an appointment). The staff that helped me today were all so kind, understanding, & patient with me. They walked me through everything and answered all my questions.

Thank you specifically to, Lazaria (so kind, lightened the mood, explained my whole process!) Megan (made time for me in her schedule & was very helpful!) Dr. Vexler (amazing! explained everything in depth, so kind. )

I was referred to this office an told the price was affordable for teeth retainers. After talking to two other different orthodontist and dentist offices there price about shocked me. The start out of retainers was 3400 plus a large deposit of like 1700. Considered the last Two places I talk to was start out 300 a piece an up do for a set 600 to 800 approximately an that was for invislign I wouldn't reccomend them if your looking for affordable.

The person I spoke to didn't seem to considerate either. I also ask if they accepted medicaid after online said they did an some reviews, she said no an even if they did my insurance wouldn't cover that which I'm aware of that after 17 years of dental work done. Just very disappointed how I heard from multiple ppl about they were a good place to start for my situation just to end up disappointed

Went to the dentist for the first time in years after battling a chronic illness and going through surgery which affected my teeth. My teeth were not in the best condition and the hygienist had told me something along the lines of god must hate me. It was a stab in the heart as I was going through so much already and I felt so embarrassed. On the next appointment I informed Dr. Myles and Miss Lisa of what had happened and they were such a blessing to have as they made me feel much better and made the next few appointments easier.

Although they were great nothing had happened to the rude hygienist and she was still employed there. It was such a shock to me since a lot of people have dentist anxiety and a hygienist with that attitude could only make it worse. Needless to say I wouldn’t recommend Myles family dentistry if you don’t want to be discouraged and hurt from someone that is supposed to help.

quarantine in North Carolina podcast from lock down

The care was okay but they did not truly let me know the extent of the issues with my teeth I had one extraction then they decided to not take my insurance anymore, being pushed from dentist to dentist during a series of procedures is more than less than ideal not to mention my child with special needs has to go to another dentist as well one that does not truly cater to needs of his affliction.

Fingers crossed that there is still a decent dental office that's willing to take the insurance of low income class
