The doctors are great, but everyone is correct in saying that the front desk staff will destroy this practice. They are extremely rude, unhelpful and this is when they bother to answer the phone during regular business hours. What a shame. Will be switching practices after having my kids there for over 13 years.

The Castillos

We absolutely love Dr. Bross and his team ! Our oldest child , has a sensory disorder and brushing teeth can be a difficult task to accomplish . . Especially in a dental office setting.

Thanks to Dr. Bross and his team … we always have a wonderful experience and our child has been able to overcome her fears of the dentist office. The staff is always friendly ,patient and cares about the needs of my child for a successful experience and relationship.

I am very disappointed in the front desk staff at Naptown Smiles! My children have been patients there for 9 years. In May of this year, we tried a dentist that was in our network but decided to return because we really like Dr. Lee and the care she provided. On 11/14, I had a 22 minute conversation with Stacy (front desk) regarding our insurance coverage and what we would be responsible for paying. On that day, she was pleasant and respectful when answering my questions and providing explanations. However, on 11/18, I scheduled appointments for my children and spoke to her again regarding the initial conversation from the previous week, where I clarified what I was asking several times. This time, she was rude and disrespectful simply because she claimed that I misunderstood what she said. Her tone was way out of line. She interrupted me twice and said, I'm sorry you misunderstood".

What kind of customer service is that? Needless to say, some of your staff could benefit from better communication and customer service skills. Better yet, get rid of people like that. The unfortunate part is that she apparently provided me with incorrect information during our initial conversation and instead of taking accountability, she chose to be dismissive, rude and disrespectful. Seems like a 22 minute conversation should have been followed up with notes in their computer, but she didn’t even bother to do that, according to another representative. We will miss Dr. Lee, but we will certainly not tolerate being disrespected at any doctor''s office. A word of advice. . .

it's not always what you say, but how you say it! Based on all these other 1 star reviews, this office has some work to do. I certainly hope the way your staff chooses to communicate is worth losing patients over. The other issue we have with them is that we were last seen at their office in November 2023. After paying the entire cost for our children's visits, we found out that they were reimbursed by our insurance company and never bothered to mail the reimbursement check to us, after claiming that the insurance company was supposed to do that. The bottom line is that their office was reimbursed and we didn't find out about it until calling there in September of this year. Hopefully they will actually return our money in a timely manner and not choose to hold on to it for another 9 months. Do yourself a favor and find another dentist office!

I rarely review but my service at Naptown Smiles is rare quality that I just had to leave a raving review. I see Dr Frances for adult dentistry and have seen her for two appointment so far. As a military veteran and now AD spouse, I’ve seen dentists in PA, OH, GA, CA, and now MD. Dr Frances is single handedly undoing the trauma from previous dentists with her thorough knowledge, gentle precision, and sweet bedside manner.

Plus I’ve had nothing but a wonderful experience with the front desk. They went above and beyond trying to help me obtain my records.
