Love the workers there❤️ Super friendly service Extremely clean environment The assistants are so friendly, attentive and always listen to my concerns. Before any dentist walks in the room. The assistants don’t just prepare you, They try to empathize with you while being in pain because let’s face it & calm you down. That’s what most people only choose to go see one. 😩 One of my top favorite dentist and let me just say I don’t like many dentists 🤣 Is, Dr Nathaniel Jacob DDS. Let me just say, He doesn’t rush you. Answers all the questions. Super gentle ( & keep in mind I don’t have the best memories or experience with dentists).

However with him, Totally different experience. You won’t be disappointed ❤️ I rate him A+++ I’ve also had the pleasure of meeting other dentists there as well and cleanings And they all have been so friendly towards me. Never had a issue when being serviced. Always left with no pain😁😁😁 I have been to many dentist and by the time I walk out of the door, Be in EXTREME pain. Ever since I have been going to his office, whole different ball game. I have been going there for some years now, And don’t plan to ever leave him. He’s the real deal ❤️ Now the front desk staff they can have more improvement. They’re professional when walking in & attending to you, However, Getting them to answer the phone between 9am - 10 am is another thing.

To make matters worse unfortunately they don’t listen to their voicemail messages either in a appropriate manner. Definitely not first thing in the morning. I’m not sure why they don’t consider it also a priority to hear them 🤷‍♀️. Especially if the call isn’t being taken. Sometimes It would take hours till they notice it and get a call back. But as the saying goes, Life isn’t perfect in the big city So we can all improve in some ways.

The worse dentist I’ve ever dealt with as well as the receptionists there are horrible. I had found dr Jacob at the time through my Medicaid for 2 root canals , started out great until it wasn’t . I missed 3 appointments due to death in my family (which is no ones business) but when I went back for the first appointment for my first crown it did not fit , not mine nor his fault . Reschedule to come back and never made it due to said death in my family and my child also having a cold which I caught and didn’t want to spread (which I should’ve just went anyway) but no matter. Now fast forward to January , I’ve since visited a new dentist and no longer have Medicaid , I have a silver plan which costs an abundance so I want a bang for my buck of course . I went back to dr Jacob in December to replace the temp crown that fell out and the other temp crown on my other side . They fix one temp crown and let me leave with the other tooth with a big hole and the assistant says they can’t fill it because it’s not a fill in needed it’s a whole crown , which I didn’t understand why they couldn’t just put a temp like the other tooth but whatever I leave with 1 temp crown and a hole in my tooth in the other . Food and bacteria has gotten in it obviously because it’s a hole and per my NEW AND IMPROVED dentist almost caused that tooth and the tooth next to it to start decaying .

Luckily I came to her in time or they would’ve had to extract . But anyway , the new dentist can see that one of my teeth were cracked due to the previous dentist (dr Jacob) because if u look at my X-rays from then to now none of my teeth were ever cracked . I loved my new dentist and ultimately decided to let my new dentist do my work , since Jacob had already submitted to my old insurance for a crown and also stating they already cemented the crown which didn’t happen . They only made the temp . So since Jacob will not reject the auto because they claim he already paid out of pocket for the extra 2 crowns they had to send for since the 1st one didn’t fit and the other 2 didn’t fit he’s refusing to release the auth even tho I wouldn’t let him touch my mouth with a long wooden spoon . I ultimately said ok I’ll let him do the 1 tooth and have my new doctor do the other tooth he hasn’t touched . I schedule an appointment for this Thursday , his receptionist calls my mother and says can’t do Thursday or Friday because he won’t be there and to go to the office in elmont . The receptionist transfers my mom to him and he says the other office can’t see me because I missed to many appointments and he wants to do the work because it’s not open and shut , oh I might have to see a periodontist or do an extraction , a bunch of bs because my new dentist said nothing of the sort .

He told my mother that he didn’t have time to talk anymore about the situation because he’s busy and he can’t keep spending 5 minutes on a call to talk about this matter since I’m the one that keeps missing appointments (it’s been 3) so since he won’t be there Thursday or Friday it has to be on his schedule and he won’t send me to the office in elmont because it’s on his time not mine and originally the receptionist said for me to go to elmont . So obviously they don’t communicate Dr Jacob is a pompous ass with a nasty attitude and overtalks you and won’t let you get a word in edgewise unless it’s him being right . He’s condescending and his office is nothing but a bunch of nasty Spanish women that he’ll defend hand and foot . Where the office is in Hempstead I should’ve known to not go there because it’s in the heart of the ghetto but he also got 5 star on Google . So hey I wanted to give him a try , but now I’m not . I’m paying out of pocket for my new dentist to do my crown for the auth that dr Jacob won’t release . So he can keep that crown my insurance paid for and shove it as I pay out of pocket for the correct work to get done . Paying out of pocket 1050 for peace of mind and correct work is better than letting him touch hit mouth again

Wonderful dentist. He is a bit of a drive for me but I know he's cautious not to do costly procedures that aren't necessary. Based on his bedside manner, my trust with his judgement and the other nice reviews I will continue to only use him.
