Detailed Introduction

Neighborcare Health at Georgetown (Dental) is a dedicated dental clinic located at 6200 13th Ave S 1st floor, Seattle, WA 98108. It operates as part of Neighborcare Health, a well-established non-profit organization that has been providing healthcare services in Seattle for over 55 years, with the Georgetown Dental Clinic specifically founded in 1972. The clinic's core mission aligns with Neighborcare Health's broader commitment to providing comprehensive primary medical, dental, and behavioral health care to families and individuals who face barriers to accessing care. The clinic offers a wide range of general dentistry services, including exams, X-rays, cleanings, fillings, and extractions. They also provide limited oral surgery, crowns, dentures, and root canal services, with referrals for more complex procedures. Emergency dental care is also available for urgent issues such as pain, swelling, infection, untreated cavities, broken teeth, or bleeding gums. Beyond dental care, current Neighborcare Health patients who have established care with a medical or dental provider can also access mental health and social services at this location. Neighborcare Health at Georgetown (Dental) is particularly focused on serving diverse and often underserved patient populations. This includes low-income and uninsured families and individuals, seniors on fixed incomes, immigrants, and people experiencing homelessness. They accept WA Apple Health (Medicaid), most Medicare Advantage plans, and private insurance. A sliding fee scale is available for uninsured patients, ensuring that no one is turned away due to inability to pay. The clinic embraces diversity, with care teams speaking over 55 languages and dialects, and is committed to being a welcoming healthcare home regardless of insurance, income, or immigration status. Additionally, the Georgetown dental clinic plays a vital role as a training site, hosting an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program in partnership with NYU Langone. This program allows dental residents to gain extensive experience by treating a wide range of dental issues and procedures in a diverse patient population, often including medically complex cases. The clinic's hours are generally Monday to Friday, 7:15 am to 6 pm, with specific phone hours from 8 am to 5 pm, and special hours on the first Wednesday of the month.

Rude phone rep. Talked over me, passive aggressive attitude and refused to even try to help because did not see it in notes. Not sure how places like this make money. No one should go to place that treats u like garbage.

I have had the WORST experience with NCH in general. the patient "care" coordinators are rude as hell, and I just got off the phone with one who hung up on me purposely after telling me she can't help me. I have been told since last week someone will give me a call.

I work in health care myself and I know when a pt is frustrated we try our best to do EVERYTHING we can to give them the best care and NeighborCare health is not it.

Chelsea Empett has become my new dentist recently, with each visit I become more confident with my teeth health . She’s been nothing but amazing, constantly quick with each appointment very knowledgeable and makes me feel like she knows what she’s doing and is going to do it perfectly correct. I’m excited to embark further with her on my teeth healing journey.

She’s 100% the best dentist I have had in my 31 years of life and i feel so blessed I was booked with her. I have already recommend 2 friends to see her and will continue to do so! THANK YOU CHELSEA!
