I have had a toothache for a week. I kept waiting for my Friday appointment, because that's the only day I had off work (I do not get sick time or vacation days). They called me 3x during the week, trying to move up my appointment. I called them back the first time and told them I couldn't come in sooner. Come Thursday afternoon, they leave a message while I'm at work, cancelling my appointment.

That doctor knew all week he wouldn't be in on Friday and instead of being honest, waited until the last minute to cancel. Now I have to go through another week of agonizing pain and a swollen face before I have another day off and can get in for an appointment. I turned down overtime to get the original one! And I really appreciate the lady who answered the phone blaming everything on me, because I "never returned her calls". I wasn't interested in moving my appointment up, so I thought one return call was sufficient when I already had an appointment!!!!!

I really love Dr. Young and the medical staff all seem wonderful. I'm so disappointed in the front office. I believe it was Krista (? I don't know because she mumbled) that took my call today and was so snippy and inconsiderate with me. She said they had tried to get ahold of me several times for an appointment I had in July that needed rescheduled, as Dr. Young was not going to be in that day.

She never let me finish, just kept cutting me off, but I was actually trying to tell her that I rescheduled it for earlier and she must not have noticed. . . Too busy getting pissy with me to see that I actually was seen by Dr. Young, and I was now calling for a completely different problem. They also "couldn't get a hold of me" because I had outpatient surgery the day they started to reach out to me.

I actually explained this to the considerate woman who helped me get my appointment rescheduled in the first place. She acted like it was my problem that the appointment had to be rescheduled (which it wasn't, just a scheduling error in their office) and then made me feel like dung when she bullied me into taking a Thursday appointment (which now is going to be a problem with work) because she would otherwise be looking in September or October for a BROKEN TOOTH. Extremely disappointed is an understatement.

Dr, Young is an awful person. In December I had gone in with concern for my 4 front top teeth. I have acid erosion and they are crumbling. I also needed 2 back teeth removed. I explained my fear of dentists to her and explained I'd have to be put to sleep for that. She sent me to North Pittsburgh. Thank goiyi decided to not be put to sleep because she sent the referral for the wrong teeth. She was going to have them take out front teeth. I had a cleaning appointment the next day so I went bag and told her what she did, she laughed and said oops. Then in March she finally fixed one of the front tooth, but it broke 3 days later, she said that was normal.

It's not. Then at that appointment she tells me she can't fix one of the front ones due to a cavity in it and said I can either get a root canal or remove it. I said repeatedly I cannot loose my front teeth. Her resp was, we will wait and see how long it holds on. 2months later that answer wasn't good enough for me so I went back about it. She said she was waiting to see what I decided to do with it, like I hadn't told her repeatedly that I cannot loose my front teeth. She knew the dentist she was going to refer me to would take 6 months for a consultation. . I went in yesterday for the final appointment she had set up for me thinking I was finally getting the 2 front ones filled. .

she then tells me, have we ever talked about caps or venners, and that she can't fix them. . . wtf. She knew from December she had no desire to help me, but lied to my face with a smile for 6 months. I asked her numerous times at this appointment why she would wait so long to tell me she has no intention on helping me, because for the past 6months if asked numerous times, you do have a plan for my front teeth, right. Her answer was always yes. Swear the only thing I do wroyin life is believe and trust people. Never again

I have no idea why there's so many bad reviews. I've been here several times and each time was great. I started as a new patient and have had a couple cavities filled and a cleaning. No pain, very friendly, and they fixed a tooth I thought was hopeless. Love this place !
