I’ve come to this dental office for years when Dr. Stec and Sobol were here. They’ve always worked with me and been very fair with pricing since we have a large family and no dental insurance. When Dr. Khaddor took over I was very impressed by the quality of his work and he was very likable as a person.
However, the costs were significantly higher. I sort of expected this to be the case since he is a newer doctor and is building his business. I went in today and was pleasantly surprised that he was willing to work with us on pricing and make this office still work for our family. I was so thankful and happy to be able to work with this new team here. We will need dental work for our children and ourselves for many more years to come! Very satisfied!

They are practicing dental overreach. They ignored my requests for privacy and my request to decline additional health screening. I even asked him do you need it for insurance purposes and the dentist said no. The dentist then proceeded to tell me that I have no right to privacy for any of my health. Even though I’m there for my oral health not my blood pressure not when my last period was.
Needless to say, they actually drove me to incivility, which is uncharacteristic for me. They have recently been bought out and are no longer a small family practice. They are also staffing up very, very heavy, so of course, we’re seeing an increase in prices and it’s taking longer to get in and out of ,and they had a habit of losing appointments too.

Today was the first time meeting Dr Khaddor. I was thankful for his calmness and educated actions during our appointment. We have been with New Haven Dental for 12 years and plan to continue. We will miss our favorite hygienist Courtney but we enjoyed our new hygienist. All 4 of my kids enjoyed their yearly cleaning even the one who got light headed and felt faint after being numbed for her filling.
In all we had a good visit at New Haven dental. I pray for our Doctors and thankful for them. They have a good team working together at New Haven Dental. My 7 year old also enjoyed the toys bucket. He got a cool yoyo

Although the staff and hygienists' were relatively pleasant, the dentist, dr. brandon khaddor, left a lot to be desired. This was my second visit with him, my first did not go well, but I decided to give him another shot because maybe he had an off day the first time. Turns out, it's just him. My first visit with him was an emergency visit for tooth pain, having never had a tooth extracted before I went in thinking I would be given antibiotics and set up another appointment for a permanent fix. Everything was going well until he entered the area, he seemed rushed, didn't introduce himself, quickly telling me that the tooth needed to come out, not knowing all that an extraction entailed, I said ok. I was nervous and unsure what was about to happen. He comes back and starts the process. No explanations, no consideration that I had never had one before. I was supposed to work that evening and had no idea I wouldn't be able to after an extraction. During the procedure, when it came time for the shots, there was no forewarning, he just picked up the needle and jabbed me in the gum, it HURT, he did this twice (not my first gum shot, I know they hurt, but I had never felt pain like that during one). I left the office confused, not quite knowing what the heck just happened, my tooth was gone and I didn't even know the name of the guy who did it. His overall demeanor this visit left me with an anxiety about future visits with him.
Approximately 4 months later, after great internal debate due to my last experience, I decide to go back for my son's first dentist appointment and a cleaning for me, with caution. It didn't start great when my child's father and I said we didn't want xrays for him yet, just the cleaning, we were told we had to sign a waiver, fine, no problem. Then another girl came back and said the doctor wouldn't do the cleaning without x-rays, confused and dissapointed but not willing to give him x-rays yet, he got out of the chair. I got in, cleaning went fine but I was anxious the entire time (honestly for weeks before the appointment too), the hygienists asked if I took blood pressure meds or was mad at her because my heart rate and pressure was high. I told her it wasn't her, it's was the dentist that I was nervous to see. When he came back into the area for his exam he seemed less rushed, introduced himself, good start. He explains what's going on with my teeth and says he's going to examine me. I wanted to let him know how the previous visit made me feel and how it had caused me great anxiety since, hoping he would take it into consideration. I said 'I have to tell you, my last experience here was a negative one', he asked 'because of me?', and when i said 'Yes', I could see his whole demeanor change. Defenses went up and he was no longer listening but defending himself. I tried to explain what had happened to make me feel that way but he cut me off and started gaslighting me, saying "Well don't you know your own work schedule?", yeah doc, I did, which is why if you had taken even a second to explain what an extraction entailed, asked even a single question about me, my dental history or what I had going that day instead of rushing me through, I would have told you I had to work and not gotten it taken out that day. He assumed he knew what was best and just did it with little to no thought about his patient. When he started blaming me instead of taking any accountability, I got up and said there would be no exam for me, from him.
He continued to overtalk me on the way up to the desk and when we got there told the staff 'Get a dismissal letter for her and her family'. . . . as if we would ever consider going back to his office after this encounter. Do as you will, but I do not recommend dr. brandon khaddor to be your dentist, his ego, lack of 'bedside manner' and inability to take constructive criticism tells me all I need to know. Also, if you don't want your child to have x-rays until they're older, he doesn't 'allow' that, even though we signed a waiver. 9/10 for the staff. 2/10 for the doctor.
