I was treated horrible here, I came in for an emergency appointment for a very infected abscess tooth to which they fit me in and they did X-rays and prescribed me an antibiotic and told me to come back in to get the tooth extracted and the abscess drained right away since an abscess is deadly and can cause multi organ shut down from sepsis if not taken care of in a timely manner in which mine was in my sinuses and half my fave was extremely painful and swollen so it was a cause for concern, I unfortunately was late to my 8am appointment cuz as you know when your in such a pain it’s hard to do anything, so since I was late 25 min, I was told not to come and that they were fully booked and wouldn’t have time to fit me in for the extraction, since it was Friday I was worried and continued to check in through the day to see if just maybe they had any cancellations well I was laughed at by the front desk and told nonchalantly to call back Monday to see if there may be an opening for me but they wouldn’t schedule me cuz I was late and they didn’t like that and didn’t want the liability of me missing it being late again so I then requested to speak to the dentist on the phone even or if they could have the dentist give me a call before the weekend to talk tk me as I was worrried to have to wait for Monday to come, well I was sadly told I wouldn’t be able to speak to the dentist and they wouldn’t be passing a message to her either, and was then hung up on. So I painfully waited for Monday to come as it grew in size over the couple days time so I called them 8am as soon as they opened on Monday to see about getting in as I was very infected, the front desk lady on the phone answered and told me they had a 10am open they could fit me in for. So i excitedly said yes plesee and I was about to hop in the car to get down there early as I was very scared and wanted it taken care of. Well, she put me on hold then got back on the phone and told me that never mind I wouldn’t be able to be seen by there office due to the late appointment on Friday and I needed to find elsewhere to go, and she wouldn’t schedule me for the 10am any longer.

I proceeded to tell her that it’s illegal for them to not take care of this since it is life threatening and she was extremely rude and told me I was wrong and that they indeed are allowed to turn me away, I wasn’t offered a referral nor did they try to help me get into somewhere else which once again that is illegal in the state of Washington. Even on there terms it says it takes 3 cancellations for them to turn a patient away but that’s not for a life threatening condition which is what I had, and I only had one late appointment so I wouldn’t go to this clinic and I will be turning them in as this is patient abandonment and patient neglect, and malpractice that this needs to be brought to the attention of the department of health. . DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!!! The front desk is TERRIBLE AND DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR LIFE OR THE WELL BEING OF THE PATIENT.

Also I do have state insurance so I feel that I was judged and profiled as I was not a patient that has some fancy insurance or money. It was a terrible experience and I will be making sure all these people are turned in to all the places that will take care of this. They need to be ashamed of themselves treating someone’s life as such a joke. Don’t go here!!!!!!! Please!

My granddaughter is a patient of Dr Emmy Park and has had pleasant experiences each time she’s gone for treatment at Newport Dental. Dr Park has a calm quiet disposition which put my granddaughter and myself at ease.

She was clear in her communication as to what we should expect and she took the time to ask if we had any questions or concerns. The office staff is polite and kind as well as the dental assistants

My family has been seeing Dr. Han as our family dentist for years now. Dr. Han has always been so kind and helpful, especially since he can communicate fluently in English for me and my sister, and Korean for my parents. All of our appointments have been quick and easy, and all the staff make it easy to schedule appointments. All the hygienists are super social and friendly. Highly recommend!!

Teeth cleaning was fast but good, and very much appreciated. Cavity fill the following day was very much appreciated. Advice was given to me regarding additional needed treatment (crowns on two molars, with possible root canal needed on one of the molars if the crown fails due to pre-existing condition). I am not financially able to pay for the two crowns at this time so I was given information on financing options that I still need to explore.

I will look into it and call for appointment if I am able to secure future personal funding or approval of a financing plan. Overall dental care was very good and they provided information on future treatment needed and why it was needed. The office staff were very pleasant and professional with answering any questions I had and providing information to me on possible financial resource options.
