I'm moving across the country next month and one of the things I will miss the most in Durham is Ninth Street Dental. Sean is the best hygienist I've ever had. He explains everything to me as he's working and gives amazing tips for keeping up with my hygiene between visits. I have not had a cavity since I've started at Ninth Street and that is in large part from their education each visit; come to find out I had been flossing wrong for most of my twenties! Dr Mashhoon is of course amazing, very thorough and always staying to catch up after my cleanings.

As someone who has had extensive dental work throughout my childhood, including cosmetic work, this is one of the best dentists I've ever gone to. I cannot recommend this place enough. They foster an environment of relaxation and empowerment. If you care about your teeth, go to the NSD!

The staff and doctors were extremely warm, friendly, and welcoming. They were very thorough in their cleaning and examinations, and took their time to explain things to me so I knew what to expect.
