We always have a great experience. The staff are so nice and personable with our kids. We have four boys, they can be loud and rough but the staff smile and take it all in stride. They get us out of there pretty quickly too and are very flexible and understanding of our busy schedules.

We also have had to have emergency visits and they worked us. Very pleased! My only one tiny thing is maybe getting through to them on the phone is ROUGH sometimes.

We set up our two year-old's first appointment six weeks out and showed up at 9:45 for a 10:00 AM appointment. My wife waited for ten minutes before someone was at the front desk to give her the paperwork to fill out. We ended up waiting for over an hour and still had not been called back. The full waiting room had emptied and people that had been called back before us had left. New people came in and they were called back. We inquired what was taking so long and were informed it was an emergency. The front desk staff was unapologetic and didn't seem to care we had waited for over an hour with a two year-old for a scheduled appointment. We told her we had to get back to work and of course a two-year old doesn't have a huge window of patience in a waiting room. The front desk worker left for five minutes, came back and said it would be another five or ten minutes.

It isn't just what she said, it is how she said it too. Look, if things went wrong, just tell us. Explain why we are still waiting at 11:00 for a 10:00 appointment. Act like you care. Act like our time is important. She didn't care. We left. Never again. I am not the guy who goes online and rants and gives negative reviews, but this was an awful experience.

Beware. You can do better. We never met the dentist, but given the quality of her staff and the efficiency of the waiting process, it was probably a good thing we left. Beware. You can do better. Don't let them waste your time like they did ours. Find a place that has professional staff and can run its office efficiently. Do not go here.

I have been patronizing this dentistry for 13 years for my children. In the beginning everything went fine, Dr. Lawhorn is great, however the way her business is run is questionable. This is the third time I have been scheduled and appointment for my daughters and I get there and they are closed, then tell you to call a number that tells you to go to a website, for the website to tell you because you have multiple patients listed under this email you need to make up multiple email addresses.

This is absolutely unacceptable business behavior. I honestly think that this dentistry is trying to eliminate Medicaid patients by scheduling appointments on days they are closed and hope that they just don’t come back. Well you got what you wanted, I am done with this dentistry. I just spoke to the office on Friday because they called to confirm and now you don’t want to let us in and give us the run around early in the morning in this freezing cold weather.

I’m done Dr. Lawhorn, your people need to do better. Sorry I have to go, but I will not allow a business to treat me in this manner, especially one I have been loyal to for 13 years. Do Better! Disgustingly Dissatisfied!

Best pediatric dentist office in the area! We moved to the Columbia area almost a year ago and after a few months I began asking friends and neighbors about a dentist office for my four children. Northeast was highly recommended by so many. I made appointments for all of my kids to have cleanings and had a good experience. I just recently took them back for their 6 months routine cleaning and it was even better than before.

Dr. Lawhon and her staff are so friendly and know their stuff. My son had to go back for a couple of crowns and I was devastated almost to the point of getting a second opinion, however, the girl that schedule his appointment to get the crowns made me feel so much better. She took the time to explain the procedure to me in depth.

My children feel very comfortable there as do I. I did notice the last couple of visits that there were a few different faces than our first visit there, I can say that it is an improvement although our first visit was good our more recent visits have been Awesome. I have and will continue to recommend this office to anyone with kids!
