The Northern Neck - Middlesex Free health clinic (NNMFHC) is a vital non-profit organization established in 1993, dedicated to providing accessible and high-quality healthcare services to individuals who are low-income, uninsured, or underinsured. Its primary mission is to embrace health and wellness as the foundation for a quality life and to deliver the highest level of care to those who typically lack access to it within the community. Located at 51 William B Graham Ct, Kilmarnock, VA, the main facility houses a Medical Clinic with five exam rooms, a Dental Clinic with six operatories, and an on-site Pharmacy. The clinic also extends its reach through outreach offices in Middlesex and Westmoreland Counties, ensuring services are available across a five-county service area: Lancaster, Middlesex, Northumberland, Richmond, and Westmoreland. NNMFHC offers a comprehensive range of services including: Medical Care: Primary and specialty care, chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, asthma), women's health and GYN clinics, urology clinics, physical therapy, laboratory tests, X-rays/CT scans, nebulizer treatments, and COVID-19 testing and vaccinations. dental care: Oral exams, treatment plans, cleanings, fillings, X-rays, sealants, extractions, and dentures. The dental clinic often collaborates with the VCU School of Dentistry, with final-year students rotating through. behavioral health: On-site mental health counseling, and assistance with connecting patients to various recovery options and resources for housing, food, transportation, employment, and legal aid. pharmacy services: Dispensing of medicines for medical and dental patients through an on-site pharmacy, with prescriptions provided at little to no cost for eligible individuals. NNMFHC also acts as a "Central Fill" pharmacy for Rx Partnership, expanding medication access to other partner clinics in Virginia. Eligibility for NNMFHC services generally requires residents to live in one of the five service counties, have a household income of 400% or less of the Federal Poverty Level, and may include those with Medicaid and/or Medicare, or no health insurance.
