Detailed Introduction

The Northern Va Dental Clinic, often referred to as NOVA Dental Clinic, is a private non-profit 501(c)(3) organization established in 1994 by members of the Northern Virginia Dental Society. Its core mission is to provide critically-needed dental services to the underserved population of Northern Virginia, including residents of Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, Alexandria, Fairfax City, and Falls Church. The clinic operates through a unique public/private partnership involving dental professionals, local governments, and social service agencies. The clinic focuses on delivering affordable, comprehensive dental care, particularly for low-income and uninsured individuals aged 18 and older, whose individual/family income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines. They are recognized as a "safety net dental clinic," ensuring access to care regardless of insurance status. Northern Va Dental Clinic offers a broad spectrum of dental services aimed at restoring patients to an infection-free and functional state of oral health. Their services include: Preventative Care: Comprehensive exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants, mouthguards, nightguards, oral cancer screenings, and oral health education. Restorative Procedures: Fillings, crowns, bridges, partial dentures. Endodontics: Pulpotomy and root canals (limited to up to two canals). Oral Surgery: Simple/surgical extractions and wisdom teeth removal. Periodontics: Soft tissue management, periodontal assessment, reevaluation, antimicrobial therapy, and scaling and root planing (deep cleaning). They utilize modern dental technology, including digital X-rays (intraoral and extraoral), and strive to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for all patients, including those with special needs and geriatric patients. The staff is fluent in several languages to enhance patient accessibility and comfort. Beyond treatment, the clinic emphasizes patient education on the causes of tooth decay, nutrition, and good oral hygiene practices to promote long-term oral health. Appointments are typically made by referral through an established network of social service agencies.

This place is the worst, the doctors don't even have enough experience, they ruined my tooth and it turns out that they sent me to have an odontodontia done, the doctor at this place ruined my tooth and it turns out that I even had to pay for the doctor's bad work. of this place nor do I recommend it to anyone except that the supervisor of this place is a rude, unfriendly, annoying woman with no manners and apart from as bad a heart as a supervisor of a place like that looking at the damage that I They made me want to charge me knowing that they themselves ruined my tooth. I don't recommend this place at all. This is the worst place.

I hope one day they manage to sue for medical negligence. This place should be sawed off. Now I'm in very bad shape, and I couldn't even eat on that side of the tooth this is too the worst 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

During my visit all staff was friendly, kind and patient. The dental hygienist could see I was a bit stressed and in a friendly and respectful manner made efforts to reduce that. The Dentist made the effort to explain things I didn't understand and even offered a recommendation on how to care for my teeth that I hadn't heard before. I left feeling better than when I arrived.
