I have seen many dentists in my life mostly due to moving around. When I lived in Plymouth I decided to find a dentist in Plymouth and ended up choosing Northwoods Dental and I’m happy I did. I’ve been seeing Dr Baldwin for over 6 years now even though I moved again and it’s longer drive. I have had some unpleasant experiences in my past which left me terrified of going to a dentist.

Dr Baldwin is kind, gentle and thorough and listens. My son saw the other dentist in the office and he was happy as well. Highly recommend!

Brady Irons

I went to Northwoods to have a couple of crowns; the doctor was amazing. My crown broke when I bit into something, late on a Friday, and they were able to pull me in (office was closed) within an hour. Highly recommend, very pleased with the dentists and staff at Northwoods.

Dear Northwoods Dental Team, I’ve been a loyal patient at your clinic for many years—long before I got married, and now my child is already six years old. Over the years, I’ve recommended your practice to family and friends because of the welcoming environment and the professionalism of your staff and dentists. However, I’m writing today to share my disappointment regarding the interaction I had with your front desk this morning. I called to schedule a routine dental check-up for my 6-year-old. Due to his school activities, we only have availability on Wednesdays and Fridays. Since your office is closed on Fridays and closes at 3pm on Wednesdays, those options are already limited.

When I explained this, I was surprised to be told that I should consider pulling my child out of school to attend the appointment. That suggestion felt dismissive of both my situation and my child’s schedule. Despite the awkward exchange, I still attempted to book my own appointment. I mentioned I was available around noon, ideally 12pm or 1pm. However, I was repeatedly offered a 4pm slot—even after I explained that I have school pick-up duties at that time. Eventually, the representative mentioned a 2pm option, and when I agreed, the call ended abruptly with no confirmation or proper closing.

The tone of the entire interaction was unexpectedly harsh, and I felt like I was being a bother rather than a valued patient. This was a disappointing and frankly disheartening way to start my Monday, especially considering the many positive experiences I’ve had with your clinic in the past. I hope you take this feedback in the spirit it’s intended—because I truly appreciate the care I’ve received over the years and would love to continue being a patient with you.
