If you are looking for a periodontist practice, look no further than the NOVA, Perio specialists located in Leesburg. In this office you will have what I would call is the 'Trifecta'! Tatiana is the patient coordinator/office manager who is extremely knowledgeable, organized and always so very kind. Jodie is my hygienist that not only cleans my teeth but takes the extra time to educate me on what I can do better to help my gums. Dr. Kharmouche, has been my periodontist now for over 8 years. He is a professional, caring and extremely detail oriented. I highly recommend this entire team Sometimes in life, you need a little extra help.

For me, that person has been Jodie, the hygienist at Dr. Kharmouche's office. She painstakingly works on my teeth, being ever so careful with my gums. And after she is done she still takes the time to ask if I have any questions. I highly recommend her.

Dr Fields was personable and professional. Entire staff was friendly and efficient and kept me informed of what they were doing at all times. Left the office with a sound plan for dental treatments. Update: Dr. Fields recently completed an extraction and an implant as part of my dental plan.

The extraction was a bit more complicated than expected but Dr. Fields showed absolute patience and compassion to check multiple times that I was feeling no pain and tolerating the procedure well. A few days post-procedure he called me to confirm I was doing well and healing properly. He is a caring and compassionate professional!

I had a procedure scheduled with this clinic for months. As someone working on a critical project, it took me over a month to coordinate sick time. To be sure, I called the clinic twice — Wednesday and Friday — and both times the receptionist and coordinators confirmed everything was good and said she had spoken to the doctor. Then out of nowhere, late Friday, they canceled my procedure claiming I missed a cleaning in February — which is simply not true. I had a cleaning on April 2, and my hygienist was fully aware of the procedure.

We even scheduled the next cleaning for early August. Let’s be honest — they gave my slot to another patient and made up an excuse. If a cleaning really was required, why stay silent for two months? This shows a serious lack of professionalism, attention to detail, and respect for patients' time. I went through pain and pressure trying to find a new doctor on short notice. They offered no apology, no help, no accountability.

I’m speaking up because no one deserves to be treated like this. Let the public decide if this is the kind of care they want.
