We had an excellent experience at Oakville. Sleepy Dentistry. My son needed a procedure that required general anesthesia, and I was a bit nervous going in. However, the entire team was incredibly professional, kind, and reassuring every step of the way. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel at ease, explaining the process clearly and answering all of our questions. Dr.

Vasudeva and nurse were wonderful—patient, attentive, and so gentle with my son. The procedure went smoothly, and my son was made comfortable during recovery. I truly appreciate the care and compassion shown by everyone. Highly recommend.

Very unprofessional, and I wouldn’t trust them at all…my son’s case is critical, we got the referral to this clinic and have been waiting for one month for the appointment. My son is in continuous pain and since he needs a clinic to deal with his age we had to wait. But guess what, they called us last minute saying, sorry we had to prioritize another patient and we will give u another time for you.

REALLY! Your patient is a little kid and this is the way to deal with your patients, why is the new customer more important? Are we getting the service for free ? Seems the other patient treatment is going to give them more money that what they expected my won’t……Very bad and unprofessional and no respect to people…. Don’t trust them

My son had bad experiences with other consultations with many sleep dentistry clinics and OAKVILLE SLEEP DENTISTRY was perfect the staff listened and made my son feel safe and comfortable. The dentist who performed surgery on my son was amazing professional and understanding of the trauma that my son went through. The receptionists were amazing as well.

Please research this clinic thoroughly before booking an appointment. I would be wary of this practice. Dr. Ravi Vasudeva came across as condescending and used intimidation tactics to pressure me into agreeing to unnecessary and excessive treatments for my child. A family member had a nearly identical experience—she went through the recommended treatment, only to be pushed into more aggressive procedures that didn’t seem justified. Shockingly, he did not even review the X-rays properly which she already had and he could have come up with a well thought out plan ahead of time, instead she was being pressured to make decisions while her son was under GA. My consultation took place in what could only be described as a broom closet. While Dr. Vasudeva did ask thorough questions regarding medical history, he barely examined my child’s mouth.

There was no dental chair, and after a quick glance, he suggested pulling out the front teeth, as well as treatment on several others, warning that I’d be back in six months and it would cost me more money. His approach felt fear-driven and threatening. Given that this a clinic for children, it was not warm or friendly. There was a child with autism in the waiting room and no one was offering the child or the mum any extra support or comfort during their stay. The front desk staff also pressured me to sign payment-related documents and refused to let me book an appointment without signing them on the spot. They would not allow me to email or fax the forms. Overall, this clinic seems more focused on maximizing profits than on genuine patient care. Dr. Vasudeva appears unaware of the power and privilege he holds, especially when dealing with families who may not speak English fluently or understand the medical system.

These families may feel unable to question him and simply follow his recommendations out of fear or trust—something he seems to take advantage of. Parents want the best for their children, and this clinic appears to exploit that. My family member was not told that she should bring advil to be given to her child after the GA appointment. He cried all the way home from the pain. Reviews on here are mixed from very bad to very good, my advice if you want treatment for your child, do your research speak to the staff, ask them for clear information and speak to a couple of other dentists before making your decision. I will not be using this service.
